    Nice, personally my big hands were fine with the glock we were issued with but I agree that the trigger took some getting used to when first used. I still miss Smith & wesson revolvers though... Shows my age!

    Just by watching when you tested the factory trigger the pull gauge was centered on the trigger, when you tested the Ramm Tactical the pull gauge was all the way down towards the bottom. That gives a increased mechanical advantage thus a lower pull rate.

    • @rammtactical
      @rammtactical  2 роки тому +4

      Factory triggers slide around. There is no intended deception. It's not a trick or an illusion, our triggers reduce the pull weight in half. When using a Lyman, the roller moves all around. Glock triggers are not easy to keep stationary. But since you are concerned, I will post another video to try and measure the Glock and RT triggers the exact same. Thanks for your comment.

    • @rammtactical
      @rammtactical  2 роки тому +3

      Jerry, you can look at this video too. I try to take the pull in the same places on the trigger. If you pay close attention, the pull is sliding, but is similar in both before and after.

    @rammtactical I am going to admit, I tuned out when you said, "This is the reason no one is buying GLOCKS anymore", this Video was posted roughly 1 year ago so I did a quick search for the year 2022 I found that the GLOCK Brand easily outsells any other brand up to and including Smith & Wesson, Sig and Taurus. Out of the top ten Gun Manufacturers and Models sold in online retail ONLY, this does not include Brick and Mortar FFL Stores the GLOCK has seven of the TOP TEN MODELS SOLD.
    10 Most Popular Handguns at a Glance
    1) Glock 43x
    2) Taurus G3C (I would be remiss if I did not mention this is a Direct Glock clone BTW)
    3) Glock 19 Gen 5
    4) Taurus G2C (Yep, another GLOCK Clone)
    5) Glock 44
    6) Glock 43x MOS
    7) Glock 19X
    8) Smith & Wesson M&P45 2.0
    9) Glock 20
    10) Glock 26 Gen 5
    So the brand that no one is buying anymore is essentially on the list NINE times if you count the blatant design copy that Taurus did, it is so blatant that just about every part from a GLOCK G26 Gen 4 will work in a 9mm G3C (Hey, if you cant beat them, Join them)
    (Source)
    blog.refactortactical.com/blog/10-most-popular-handguns/
    Thing about a GLOCK, it is built the way it is for a reason, they dont start failing until you start shoving a bunch of parts in them that are not OE. Wanna know why the tolerances are loose, that is so Grime, Grit and Water can safely either drain away through the frame exiting through the Magazine channel on the backstrap (This is also why you never put a Pierce or any other brand Grip Plug in the Grip, you essentially are blocking one of the main exit points for water and debris to exit that pistol) or that whatever does not remove it's self will not interfere with the internal operation of the Trigger Group and Firing Pin assembly. So when people start putting competition this and competition that in their GLOCKS that have way tighter tolerances than the OE parts what in fact they are doing is creating a potential fail state. The GLOCK trigger reset is crisp and one of the best on the market, just takes a little practice at the range and you are fine.
    (Edited because I learned a little something today and got called out on it, Much respect to Ramm for handling my dumbass comment the way he did and taking that as a motivator to educate me instead of deleting or censoring my comment)

      I've been a gunsmith for years and Glocks are notorious for having triggers that are not easy to control. That's not hype, it's true. I'm glad you've had the time to write an essay on my channel. Sometimes we say things that exaggerate the truth. Like I've heard it a million times. Really? A million? No. But you're obviously someone who cares and I appreciate that. When doing a video sometimes you might call an extractor an ejector. We don't all have the luxury of producers and editors. Things are usually taken from the spirit of the message and once it's recorded, it's in stone so to speak. Our triggers have helped shooters from beginners to competitive enthusiasts. There is a multi million dollar industry of aftermarket Glock triggers and that is what we do. Not everyone dismisses Glock purchase because it looks ugly or has a rough trigger. Obviously they are good guns. You're effort to not try to bust balls was a mute point from the beginning of your whole comment. However, it is true. All except the last 2 statements. I've always worked on triggers as a gunsmith and want to help people. Our product does that. Glock is happy to have companies like mine. It helps them, not hurts them. Thanks for taking the time and research. You can bust my balls and that's OK. If you were to try our products, I think you would agree that we are helping people. If you don't try it, that's OK too. Just know, you're not defending Glock, they don't need it. You're not really busting anyone's balls if they are wearing a cup. We can all agree to move on and be happy where we are!

    When did this product hit the market? I’m disappointed in myself that I didn’t find it a year ago and wasted money on a Timney. I’ve had nothing but heart ache with Timney. Timney breaks incredibly well, resets well….kind of… I guess when it wakes up on the right side of the bed😂😂 has light strikes…Any way.
    So I went back to the stock trigger for reliability.
    I like your concepts in keeping the gun as stock as possible, for reliability!! I’ve always wondered if there was a geometry change that would make the trigger better, “ask and ye shall receive”.
    It’s my opinion that there is more value in a trigger than just break weight. Reset and travel have equal or more value. But when you can have all 3!!! Well now we are shooting a striker gun that can be comparable to a 2011.
    I’ll give your product a try!!!

That is up the each individual to decide if 4# is ccw safe. But we are not promoting ccw triggers, we manufacture performance triggers.

      Someday it will be pretty for the superficial folk! But today it will just have to be good enough to out perform the pretty ones! 👍

    And the drop safety still functions? Zev owes my buddy a Samsung tv and some clean underwear. Fell off his nightstand in a T1C holster and sent one down range.

    NO ... Glocks are NOT "Good Guns", they are Shit compared to even a plain 'ol Colt 1911A1 right out of the factory! And HERE is WHY .... YOU had to BUY a complete Trigger / Hammer / Springs / etc kit. ANY 1911A1 including Clones and 2nd World copies, all you have to do is polish 4 surfaces with a Stone, adjust the mainsprings a bit and you have a 3 to 5 lbs SHARP SHORT CRISP Trigger!!

      You have your right to your opinion, and to carry your 5 pound gun, but please keep the language clean on this channel.
