Whats a dot connector? Just installed my 4.5# gpt in my gen5 g17. Feels nice so far, i did notice the issue this video is about right away tho. Cant wait to break it in
@@kalanipitmon7817 the dot connector is the 5# connector that's comes stock in Gen4 and Gen5 factory Glocks. It has a dot on the back of it to identify it. A little less trigger pull weight than the Gen3 5.5# connector found in the Gen3 model Glocks.

Karl, bought Glock 48 and a little disappointed. I figured the trigger pull to be in the 5-6 lb range, normal, so a trigger job would be in order. Also the trigger itself is sharp on its edges- uncomfortable when I shoot with the pad of my finger or the first knuckle area. Searching the Internet for help, I found your video on the Ram Tactical slim line trigger/bar. Looks like this product would solve my problems. Your comments would be appreciated. Thanks….
@@jmoses2836 Yes you would be very happy with our upgraded Leverage trigger. The Slimline trigger is our most popular. I prefer the straight trigger, but we do offer a hybrid curved. There is no comparison once you drop in our trigger. You'll be glad you did!
Woah, had no idea you could shorten the trigger travel on a striker gun. It's the only reason I go for a hammer gun.
Excellent video. Used to clean my XR920P extractor area. Wasn’t too dirty even after 8000 rounds. Play do clean the entire gun other than taking off the optic after a few hundred rounds and shoot that plunger extractor area with gun scrubber.

So if you had an optic on this you would have to remove the optic every 500 round to clean it. Then have to sight it in each time? Well that sucks.
@@mjbine To clean out the safety plunger port, you need to remove the optic. How ever many rounds that is, it sucks. That's the Shadow design. Not ours.
Shadow support told me you can go between 7 to 10K before having to clean/replace any parts in there. So if you regularly clean the basics don’t have to remove the optic for quite some time.

Factory trigger on new G19 Gen5 put me low and left. I've got the same with just an aftermarket connector and the 🐂💩 25 cent polish job. Now Its smooth, clean break and all rounds would be covered with an apple @ 25 yrds
I just bought my Ave C Cleaver last week and went to the range this past Friday. The first 100 shots or so went perfect...then the trigger just died! It stayed to the rear. Any ideas what would have happened...anyone?
@@ArtieGlock sounds like there isn't enough sear engagement. If you remove the magazine and with an empty chamber, sling shot the slide very hard. If the trigger is dead, (stays back) in other words, slips off the striker, there is not enough sear engagement.

@@ChefSaucey_G the CR920 has its own kit. You'll find it in the clone section on our website. The Dagger had its own kit and the MR920 had its own kit. They are all different.

@@lockshoprobert if you are familiar with doing a 1911 trigger job, that's what I did. Involves stoning the proper angles on the sear and hammer, adjusting the pre/ post travel and leaf spring. Polishing internals, etc.
What do u think about shadow systems plunger? I already have an apex trigger installed and I was gonna install the plunger as well but the shadow systems plunger actually looks pretty nice to me

I NEED this trigger for my Shadow Systems MR920 Elite!!! I love this gun and its run flawlessly over the thousands of rounds I’ve put through it and I thought the trigger might get a little better over time as many trigger do but it just seems to be worse. I’ve never done a trigger job but this seems to be “easy” enough for a first timer if I go slow. I’ve actually put the SS MR920 on the back burner and have been really diving into my CZ P01 which which I’ve had A LOT of work done to and is superior in every way compared to the SS but the SS was given to me by my father as a birthday gift in 2021 a few months before he passed away so it has sentimental value, I think I’d carry it more with a better trigger like this!

@@ozbonilla6381 the triggers are online under Glock clones. The new connectors for the larger models are coming soon. We currently have connectors for the slimline Glocks and clones (eg., G42, G43, G43, G43X, G48., CR920)

@@Pistolpete3303 It is the full kit. We found that by selling the whole kit we can tune the whole assembly to accomplish a short light single action pull. The enhancement kit is probably what you're looking for but without the rear sear assembly we've found it not as nice as offering the whole tune assembly.

Sorry But there is no way you got that kind of reduction in trigger pull weight by changing the plunger and adding a polished connector.

@@rammtactical of course not. Just watch the video. About half of the video, what you are currently speaking of and trying to demonstrate was off camera upward. Like when you're done and you're demonstrating the trigger, all I can see is the very bottom of your hand and every bottom of the grip and the actual trigger and your finger and all that stuff is completely off screen. That's all. I guess to be fair I should have noted that it was a very informative video, I just get frustrated when I'm trying to see what you're telling me and trying to show me and I can't see it.
