    Get my 3-part full-swing training series that will help you tap into a level of power and consistency you didn't know you had. And the best part? It's completely free! ballstrikingblueprint.com/mag...
    One thing I hear all the time on the lesson tee is, “I hit the driver well, but I struggle with my wedges…”
    Or sometimes it’s the reverse… “I’m great with my wedges, but a complete mess with the driver.”
    Well that all ends today.
    I’m going to show you how to optimize your golf swing for every club in your bag… so you can hit penetrating darts with your wedges, and then turn around on the next tee box and hit a high towering driver with high launch and low spin.

    Hi I'm Zach, thank you for visiting my channel. My goal here is to help you play the best golf of your life while having as much fun as possible!
    I'm a PGA-certified golf instructor and have been coaching since 1997. I've been named a Golf Digest "Best Young Teacher," a GolfTips Magazine "Top 25 Golf Instructor," and Southern California PGA's Teacher of the Year. I've worked with golfers of all ages and levels, from 4-year-old beginners on up through touring professionals. My students have included nationally-ranked juniors, touring pros, celebrities, and CEOs, but wherever you're at on your golfing journey, my goal is always the same... to help YOU play your best golf!
    I started playing competitive golf at a young age, ultimately reaching #3 in the California junior golf rankings - just behind another promising young golfer named Tiger Woods. I also played collegiate golf at the University of Southern California and professional golf on the Omega Asian Tour.
    I work with students in-person at my studio in Valencia, CA, and teach golfers all around the world through my UA-cam channel and on my website: ballstrikingblueprint.com. Thanks for stopping by and drop me a comment if you have any questions or would like to get in touch!

    This is the first channel I have seen that actually has a qualified teaching professional. So far none of the non sense I see on 99% of UA-cam channels. There is no such thing as a secret or magic move, just great fundamentals through hard work and dedication. From one teaching pro to another, keep up the great work Zach!

    Something I got from the ballstriking blueprint; Aaron’s lesson: when you show the club shallowing for the downswing your holding the club in the lead hand. The shallowing is a direct result of getting the right elbow down as you demonstrate in Matts lesson.

    This is a great overview. I am in the 'hit everything great except driver' category. I must admit, now and then I achieve the lead deflection of the shaft and the ball goes miles effortlessly and my jaw drops! However, achieving that consistently and doing so without losing control of the face/strike remains a huge challenge, especially given the huge difference in feel for me, both in the body and through the club. I will give your recommendations a try. Well explained Zach!

      Give it a shot and come back to let us know how it went. Hopefully some longer drives, there is no better feeling than a well struck tee shot.

    Zack where to I post my email to get on your weekly mailing list?
    Your videos have been amazingly helpful to me. First time I’ve ever truly understood the correct what to use my right arm in my golf swing. Keep up the great work.

    Hi Zach great video it would seem that the right palm is facing the ground until the left thigh and then releasing for the irons and hybrids and fairway woods where does the right palm face the ground for the driver and then release near the right thigh or in the middle of your stance thanks for your help kindly advise Jack

    • @ZachAllenGolf
      @ZachAllenGolf  7 місяців тому

      I would say for a punch shot the right palm would is facing the ground until lead thigh. For a normal iron shot it would release just inside your trail thigh, and for driver just inches earlier

    Hi Zach, I'd really love to know what the tour range and average is for swinging in to out. My launch monitor says I swing 5 degrees in to out on average with my driver. I'm trying to reduce / eliminate side spin. The interesting thing is because I swing in to out my miss is long right and short left (if I close the club face and hit a draw). This is backwards from the norm for a right hander.

    • @ZachAllenGolf
      @ZachAllenGolf  7 місяців тому +1

      You might want to reduce that club path number some. Usually my best draw players will be 2-4 in to out with there irons, but driver will be closer to zero. Because of the forward ball position, and need to hit more upward this should in theory shift your natural club path more leftward. Hope that helps

      @@ZachAllenGolf Thanks Zach, it does help, it confirms what I should be working on and what my target swing path number should be.

    Hi Zach. Love your instruction. You might have mentioned that if you have the shaft leaning that far forward you will have to also do something to keep the face square or those balls are going straight right.

    • @m0delgado616
      @m0delgado616 7 місяців тому

      Zach's a pro and I'm not, but I've learned the hard way that you can overdo the "hands forward" especially with your wedges and short irons, which will lead to sh*&k$ and shots that go out to the right. If you watch tour pros in slow motion from face-on, yes, their hands are slightly ahead just prior to impact, but it isn't long afterward that the clubhead, shaft, and their left arm are pretty much in a straight line (meaning the clubhead caught up to their hands). So just a warning from someone who has screwed up his release at times by trying to follow this type of advice.

    • @ZachAllenGolf
      @ZachAllenGolf  7 місяців тому +1

      Very true, as you delay the release by pushing the handle more forward, you also have to turn the face down, and also pull the handle more inward towards your lead thigh. Or else it can be shank city.
