    You must have ridden this bike in rains enough so would like to know 2 things, 1- is the front mudguard extender doing its job well, 2- do you feel the need to install additional tire hugger at the back. Lots of honda cb350 owners are complaining about rust issues, would like to know how you manage it maintenance wise to keep your bike rust free? I feel like a separate 5-6min short video on monsoons and rust maintenance etc would be helpful? Thanks for your videos.

    • @Motoccino
      @Motoccino  2 роки тому +2

      to be very very honest with you, due to last couple of years in WFH mode, I have ridden in rains maybe 3 times in the whole year, so really haven't experienced some of these real issues. I have tried hard to look for rust, but found very minor rust - inside the handlebar pipes, when i changed bar end weights and on a couple of screws under the mudguard. However it is made of Iron and steel which is subject to rust, so, doesn't bother me. I do a WD40 spray once in a while on parts that I feel are most exposed, and it seems to be doing its job so far.

    • @itzvineeth97
      @itzvineeth97 2 роки тому +1

      I have ridden my bike extensively in chennai rains, this is my experience.
      1. Mudguard extender is must have accessory, it does the job exceptionally.
      2. Tyre hugger is recommended if u ride with a pillion mostly or else just pass
      3. There are rust issues in my bike, but they're just superficial rust, if told the service guys and they took care of it. They'll even repaint if u have paint peel off issues .

    Hi, really good info on bike, i recently purchased anniversary edition.
    Would like to know about few things -
    1. Bar ends aluminium better one or stock one. Mine got broken left side,due to stupid person in traffic.
    2. Windscreen installation from honda, local Shop or carbon racing? Which would be better.
    3. Sometimes shifting gear down, feels hard with full clutch holding also.Is it normal or need to highlight when giving for service.
    4. Have you installed seat covers yourself or local Shop.
    5. Mobile holder suggestions or can i go with bobo only.

    • @Motoccino
      @Motoccino  2 роки тому +1

      Hi,
      Here you go
      1. The aluminium ones are good. Lots of plastic stock bar ends get broken by slightest of reasons
      2. I would suggest, keep it windscreen free. If at all you really need one, go for the OEM Honda fly screen. I know at least 3 people who spent money on Carbon Racing windscreen and removed later due to too much head buffetting and noise!
      3. It's not normal, pls ask service to check
      4. Seat covers are from Sahara Seats - they are on amazon also I think and have their own website
      5. Bobo is very good - I recommend the Jaw one and not the Claw one.

    • @Motoccino
      @Motoccino  2 роки тому +1

      @@suhasp6540 Yes I feel worth, as long as you don't spend a ton of money - the whole tank itself costs 5500 to buy new, so pls dont spend more than that on PPF. I did try to do PPF on my matte, but due to some manufacturing defect or something, the lacquer they apply to get that matte finish, started peeling off with the PPF. I replaced the tank, but after that havent had the courage to try PPF again, but I have seen plenty of matte greens successfully PPF'd. For eg my Himalayan has PPF, since I use magnetic tank bags all the time and also my Versys already had PPF when I bought it. I always strongly recommend PPF for all bikes.

      Not worth it in my opinion. Small fuel tank, very compact, not comfortable for pillion, not comfortable for tours (except for many customizations) - I think its too much of a very specialist bike and too less of a bike for too much money! After seeing your reviews I considered buying a CB350 for months but eventually decided to 'bite the bullet' and went in for a pre-owned Classic 500 instead. I've been riding a cast iron 350 for decades, so the 500's power and low-end torque are very addictive. Puttering around the city is a lot of fun.
    Hopefully Honda will come out with a CB500 or CB650 soon. Now that is something I'll plonk my money on. If it's priced under 5 lakh, that is.
