  • In this video, I walk you through a recent issue that we faced on Shashi's Honda "Highness" CB350 while returning from Sakleshpur.
    This is not a complaint or a negative video, but more of an awareness video.

    Here is a final update. After diagnosis by Honda, here is what came out:
    Shashi had a small drop of his bike in his initial stages which sort of bent the rear brake lever a little bit. And because of this bend, and sub optimal engagement with the brake light switch which is attached to this lever, ended up constantly producing the rear brake light "flickering" situation which I mention in the video. And apparently, a constant surge load on the battery due to this, over a period of weeks and months, is what depleted the battery over a period of time to such an extent that the battery finally couldn't bear the crank-load.

    This Brake light flickering is valuable observation share. When I went for Honda Brakefast ride, I observed atleast 5-10 bikes with flickering brake lights.. I suspected they're applying rear brakes unintentionally... I'm sharing this in CB350 group for wider awareness

      Absolutely right and I too observe many people ( general riders) have habit of placing their foot on the brake pedal while riding which lights up the brake light.

    So you switched from Avenger mirrors to the Burgman one?
    Which one would you prefer over the stock mirrors?
    Thanks in advance brother! Love your vlogs

    hi pradeep. appreciate your vlogs.👋 i would like to know whether the visor do the job of reducing the wind drag at higher speeds. am planning to buy one . pls let me know.

      I used it mostly for aesthetics, I dont think this will do a good job of wind blast. Having said that, I have a higher tolerance to deal with wind blasts so my views may not represent views of many.

    Interesting adventure, the best part was knowing that you all managed to come back home safe and sound from the unexpected situations that was encountered. Better late then never.
    Disappointment on the part of the Honda Big Wing services. Feels like immediate road side assistance is a big joke that Honda needs to reeducate the customer service to solve the problem of the rider not the other way round. I too have a road service but was never satisfied having one. What do you think of the Honda Services ? Probably when situations occurs, I will find it's true colours or maybe you can still highlight on the issues that has been on the next stage. Till then, take care and safe ride. Many more miles to go. 😁Cheers😁

      the AMC is a good one to take. I never took EW nor RSA. The problem is the RSA people lack common sense and any customer focus!

    I think you would have faced this issue even if you had RSA for Royal Enfield. On a different note, where did you get these mirrors? I have a TVS Ronin and I am not happy with the stock mirrors.

    Nice video Pradeep as always. Thanks for sharing the experience ( on the battery fiasco) which will help many of us to face a similar situation. I have a question, when the console lighted up when switched on after sometime what was the voltage reading ? This should indicate the battery status right ?

    • @shashifarming
      @shashifarming 2 роки тому

      Voltage when not cranked was around 12.5. But it would not take the load of cranking. The battery did not have enough juice to get the cranking.

    Battery is common problem in Honda cb 350. Bike Sudden failure in middle of journey is very strange and dangerous when you are middle of nowhere. I think quality of battery is defective. Honda must review this problem to find permanent solution. I may suggest to other riders is to carry spare fully charged battery while going on long drive.

    Hey Pradeep. The current leakage angle is new . This experience of getting stranded with a supposedly unbreakable Honda is nothing short of a nightmare.
    Do the new Honda's need to get their bolts tightened like old RE's now wth! There are few videos of CB 350 battery drain on YT, i always thought it could be a battery issue .

    i am new cb 350owner 50kms done .Did your tank also moves when u apply little force or while removing fuel filler hose, and my downshifts are little harsh I say or take effort to slot into gears , everytime starting bikes takes time to warm up even after like returning to bike after like hour or 2 .I actually don't have proper knowledge about bike or how this engine works suggestion are appreciated or link to videos

    • @Motoccino
      @Motoccino  2 роки тому

      yes the tank moves, as its mounted on a rubber frame to have less vibrations, thats normal. Yes in the initial period, the gears will feel harder to engage and with time and repeated usage, they settle into a nice rhythm. Yes the warm up and initial higher revs and then settling into lower revs is also normal. All of your observations are very normal for this bike, don't worry 😀

      You can go for anything which is above 30L top box by Shad or Givi. Having said that, please note that you can even lock your jacket through the sleeve using one of those decathlon stretchy cable locks. I will probably do a video on how to do this. • @Motoccino
      @Motoccino  2 роки тому +3

      No it is the Suzuki Burgman mirrors. Costs around 900. and is anti glare. But I dont really like it or would recommend it. The anti glare makes it harder to see stuff behind, and its lot more buzzier. I recommend the Avenger mirrors. Work much better and I will probably shift to those soon. However I have a few friends who have these burgman mirrors and they are quite happy with it!
