It would be really cool if in this theoretical sequel, the movie plays out as basically, 5 years after Godzilla's defeat, researchers ask our protagonist (same as -1) to take them to odo island to learn why Godzilla was there in the first place and end up finding anguirus who is, similar to -1 at the start of the movie, relatively small, around 25 to 30 feet tall, they manage to tranq it and bring into the harbour, most likely Osaka, anguirus manages to break out of its cage and starts running through the city causing a rampage and accidentally killing people, however when he reaches water he stops, he slowly backs up and godzilla emerges from the water, anguirus lunges at him and starts to bite at him, however godzilla shakes him off and stomps on him, anguirus realizes he's in over his head and decides to run away, godzilla see's this and decides to charge up his atomic breath and as angurius reaches water, he blasts him as he jumps in. Everyone thinks he's dead and fighter jets start luring Godzilla away. Fast forward some time and the characters feel somewhat to blame for anguirus' death, remarking how they shouldn't have taken a creature from its home only to be slaughtered. We here that Godzilla has surfaced about 10 miles away and is starting to swim closer to Japan, fighter jets and naval boats start to attack Godzilla, new equipment has been made to help deter him and at first it works, they do their best to aim explosives towards Godzilla's head, and as a boat is about to take the shot, its dragged underwater by a huge mutated monster, Godzilla is as confused as the main cast and they see Godzilla get dragged under water, only to resurface with Anguirus biting him, the fleets retreat and we learn Godzilla fled the scene and Anguirus is on its his way, he surfaces and starts attacking Osaka, lodging spines into buildings, tearing apart roads, and killing many. Godzilla surfaces near by and they both fight, they charge into each other and start to tear each other apart, Godzilla has Anguirus on the ropes and decides to use his Atomic breath, however Anguirus also intakes a huge breath of air, and lets out a roar as strong as a bomb and blows away buildings, people, and cars, we see Godzilla's skin start to tear and blood start to pour from his mouth. Both monsters retreat to heal and Japan, once again is in ruins. Our cast theorizes that Anguirus could be an ancient rival to Godzilla's species and perhaps bringing it to the mainland keeps luring Godzilla back, so they devise a plan to lure Anguirus to Odo island again so Godzilla will follow him and one will kill the other, once the winner is made clear, they plan to sedate it and place exlposives in its mouth, hoping it'll digest the explosives and it will blow up. At first this works however, once they reach Odo island Godzilla emerges earlier than they had planned and throws everything out of loop, all personel are ordered to distract both monsters and make sure they can get the sedatives and explosives ready. This fails and their forced to split the amount between the both of them, Anguirus wakes up early after eating the explosive and starts attacking Godzilla. Godzilla starts charging his breath and all personel are ordered to leave the island, however godzilla's breath causes the explosives to go off, seemingly killing Godzilla and Anguirus at the same time. Destroying Odo Island. Idk about post credit scenes but eh, maybe Anguirus survives all burnt and scarred but washes up on the beach and finds an egg that would belong to Godzilla's species, so if this continuity ever decided to have them team up, you could explain it as a parental bond which makes more sense imo.

In my opinion, Anguirus today could become an allusion to the merciless earthquakes from which Japan has suffered more than once. It can be said that theoretically, Anguirus's ability would be to create incredibly powerful earthquakes, which he could use against Godzilla, causing huge chunks of earth to rise up, both protecting Anguirus from atomic rays, as well as attacking Godzilla himself.
i like this theory alot, but what could be cooler is a godzilla revenge story, he got obliterated in the ending of -1 and we saw how he was regenerating cause the big G never truly dies, so what if the sequel is more of a revenge story?
I'm all for seeing Anguirus in a minus one sequel' he seems to be one of the top 3 or 5 monsters that could make it in the next sequel, but for sure there are others such as Hedorah and Biollante to consider. As for the last two Varan is starting to gain a little bit more steam and last but not least is Rodan' who is one of the big five but something tells me they will avoid using him unless they plan on giving him his own movie again first, like they plan to do with Mothra and King Ghidorah later down the road. But of course plans can change as there has been no word on these stand alone films for the last year or two' but I'm not really concern about those ones yet until after the sequel comes out first.
Would love to see in 'Go-dzi-lla Minus Two' Godzilla Minus Two: that Go-dzi-lla the Godzilla fragments have grown back into FIVE Atomic-Dinosaur-Monsters (all representing 'Atomic Weapons could result in Humanity going Extinct like Dinosaurs' as Go-dzi-lla does): Godzilla; Anguirus; "Rodan"/Radon; Varan; Gorosaurus. All five are 'dinosaur-monsters' and most first appeared in the 1950s. All could represent a 1950s threat of atomic escalation and human extinction. ゴジラ, アンギラス, ラドン, バラン, ゴロザウルス #godzillaminusone #godzillaminustwo ☢⌛☢💀 Nuclear Atomic Arms doesn't die, it multiplies out into the cold war, atomic arms escalation: Five Atomic-Dinosaur-Monsters all threatening humanities extintion from atomic war.
Showa Anguirus is an irradiated Ankylosaurus (his full name, "Angilasaurus" is a poor traduction of Ankylosaurus after all), the Showa Rodans were irradiated pteranodon sub-species, so they fit perfectly. Gorosaurus could be retconned as an...irradiated Pachycephalosaurus, maybe? You could even throw the Meganulon and, hell, even Megaguirus into the -1.0 universe. So much potential.
I actually wouldn’t mind seeing a monster battle in the sequel if we ever get one, I definetly see Godzilla fighting Anguirus in the sequel, maybe Hedorah or even that second Godzilla that Godzilla was rumored to fight in Minus One.
If you ask me, I say leave this movie as a stand alone. But for a sequel, the most important issue they need to handle is Koichi and the overall theme. Sequel needs to be called Minus 2, so that would mean the need to make things worse for Japan than just ‘Godzilla’s return.’ People theorize that the thing growing on Noriko’s neck might mutate her. But do we need Koichi to go through that again? I say have Noriko’s infection be slow, but this time Koichi is fighting for hope and determine to find the cure. Heck, Anguirus might hold the cure.
Regardless if they do a Minus One sequel or not, Toho is gonna have to bring back a monster fight in the big screen. They've done two solo Godzilla movies in a row so a third one would be tiresome already.
My theroy is: The wife dies from some kind of radiation sickness from Godzilla beam (when she got hit by the blast) and since in the end of the movie we see a spine like thing growing on her neck. When she dies a rose will be placed on here body. After a while she becomes biolante and godzilla will Regenerate. Godzilla full of hatred and revenge will try and attack tokyo and biolante trying its best to help the humans, will be attacked by the humans too but, at the end of the film the main character will realize its his wife and lets the two fight. Godzilla eventually overcomes his foe but returns to the ocean to heal himself.
Well, I've written for a Minus One sequel recently. It might be a TV show and similar to Monarch: Legacy of Monster, when the previous characters wont be the one to deal with Godzilla this time but their descents, and also inspired by Godzilla: God's Angry Messenger, a scrapped idea for Godzilla movie (Godzilla literally destroyed the world in that story), and inspired by FW, G2K and Heisei era a little bit. So, after the attack of Godzilla, multiple other giant monsters attacked around the world and an organization was founded to fight and manage them, called GMF. They also invited Koichi and the descents of his friends to join. As GMF found Godzilla revived, they infected him with ANEB and trapped him on a lake of a desert island. However, as an alien race came, they awoke Meganulas and provoked Godzilla, who risked his life to escape the island but survived ANEB. He destroyed a nuclear power plant, partly cured ANEB and came to the mainland. He destroyed multiple cities, grew much bigger from 50m to 100m and killed Megaguirus before returning to the ocean due to ANEB again. Then, GMF used their secret weapon, Dimension Tide to kill him during a fight on the ocean, but failed. This time, Godzilla evolved to completely cured ANEB and returned for destruction. As the alien race released their weapon, a powerful shot to destroy the Earth, the shot had a beam lock with Godzilla, which created an explosion that wiped out the Earth's surface. However, GMF had already held an evacuation underground for 500 million people, but Koichi sacrificed himself for a boy and got killed by the massacre. GMF revealed their Mechagodzilla to fight against Godzilla, who flew itself and Godzilla to space and self-destroyed for an explosion to kill Godzilla and the aliens once and forever.
Wow, that’s detailed, the only thing I’d say is I don’t thing they’d end the series’s on a second instalment and it be a show. It’s long enough for maybe a multiple part movie like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows but would probably work better in an alternate universe than a minus one sequel, cool idea though.
For everyone saying that this might not work as a sequel and as a show. Yes, u guys got a point, it might work better as the end of the series, and maybe the "show" should be split in two parts as two movies. Since GM1 exploits the postwar of Japan when the country went too zero and many things related to war and history were involved in the movie, a better idea for continuing the series is just like Rage Across Time, different periods of the human's history getting attacked by Godzilla. My current idea for the sequel will take place in 1959, when Japan recovered from the war and people try to forget Godzilla and hide it from new generations, but its return reminded them. Also, Manda will be the opponent to Godzilla, a giant in the Odo Island sea, the rival with Godzilla, mutated by the Castle Bravo and was hidden by island natives and reporters to avoid getting considered as "the second Godzilla" until the final battle when it fought Godzilla.
@@thanhfaarus ooh, now that sounds like a good sequel, I made an idea where it would be like a split race of Godzillasaurus’s where the villain(s) would be 2-4 Zillas as they would be smaller, weaker, faster and smarter versions of Godzilla and would be a bit like Godzilla vs mothra’s larva in mothra vs Godzilla or in Tokyo sos.
For me Godzilla Raids Again is exactly what came to mind if they wanted to go the direction they went after the original that Minus One does beautifully. I learned from watching a Dangerville video that the director said if he does do a sequel he would want him facing another monster which could mean any monster or a totally new one! We can see something like Anguirus. I would be amazed to see a new Anguirus and I feel like they would make it make sense. They won't rush it and if there is a sequel I expect it to be no let down especially with what a success Minus One become.
A sequel to Minus One should skip to a few decades in the future, maybe even a whole time jump to the modern day (2025 or something). Godzilla regenerates into a new form, bigger and more dangerous than ever. Japan is also suffering the aftermath of a terrible epidemic started by the Godzilla attack in 1946 whete the symptoms include blackened blood veins that dry up and suffer rapid necrosis. By studying this epidemic scientists were able to discover loose dna samples of godzilla and to their horror these samples also begin to regenerate. The new main protagonist is the grandson of our protagonist from the last movie who has a heritage of tragedy with his family being taken from him by the government, as they too are infected with Godzilla cells. These Godzilla cells are being kept in cold storage but rival government agencies like America or China send agents to steal these cells. One botched theft attempt ends with one of these cells spilling into water or a plant which starts its own mutation process during its regeneration. While Godzilla regenerates, his seperate cells start regenerating too but into a new monster. Godzilla returns to Japan, sensing his "other half". This leads to an epic monster fight. While the last movie's protagonist fought with raw power, our new protagonist fights with his brain. He grew up studyint the godzilla cells to find a way to cure his family. With his help and the help of a new motly crew of hopeful japanese, our heroes use science and hard guts to take down both monsters and save japan jist as their grandfathers did before them.
Honestly, i feel it could be cool to see the next villain be a branch off monster of the Godzillasaurus like in humans and apes. Maybe the villain could be 2-4 Zilla’s and they’ve had a rivalry like you proposed for Anguirius but I feel it could work better as the smaller, weaker, quicker and vastly producing Zillas and the bigger, stronger slower and singular Godzilla
I would be all for the idea of a minus one Sequel being a sort of reimagining of Raids again, would fit perfectly since that movie dealt with similar Themes to minus one, with normal civilians just trying to get by and make the best out of what's available to them, only for the prehistoric monster Sh*t to hit the fan and make everything even worse
For a sequel I hope it fast forwards to modern day, and give us a hint the the main cast in GM1 lived to be old and died peacefully. Might soften the blow of them making a sequel to this amazing stand alone story, because once Godzilla returns AND other monsters show up, it makes all the efforts the characters made in GM1 all the more pointless.
It would be very interesting if they make you feel for anguirus, he should feel more like an animal just acting on instinct, then when he battles Godzilla, he will be brutally and savagely killed, it should feel less like an even fight and more like animal abuse, showing just how much of a monster Godzilla is
Idk if this would be part of the minus one universe but i always thought a series of movies were an evil godzilla goes around the world killing different Kaiju, King Ghidorah or destroyer could be the final villains of the series of movies or maybe in one of the movies godzilla gets a son and once he grows up he takes on is dad and it would be a Godzilla vs Godzilla movie but idk
Godzilla Minus Two might release this year. Because The first gojira film was made in 1954, and Raids Again was on 1955. It might be comfirmed that Godzilla Minus Two is in 2024(this year).
I sincerely hope the sequel has some kaiju vs kaiju moments. I really want angurius to come back, but if not, my next biggest wish is a proper Godzilla vs Rodan movie. I think either of the 2 are the perfect kaiju to feature in a sequel
Minus two should be a 2025 movie, since that will be a 70 year anniversary for Anguirus. And if we see Anguirus in the sequel, you know it’s about to get messy between them fighting.
Godzilla and King Kong of the Monsterverse should do their own movie with storylines for both movies that will link them to another teamup. In the meantime....when Kong's movie comes out that's when the Godzilla Minus One Sequel should be released (maybe a few months apart from one another).....while OG Gòdzilla should be released a two to three years later.
I hope they take this approach. Raids again deserves a faith remake like minus one and Anguirus needs some love.... Gojira should still kick his ass though lol
I think Anguirus should be the monster Godzilla fights. Maybe have a scene where he goes into a ball (like in final wars) and godzilla shoots the atomic breath and boom another atomic blast mid air to kill angruius or make him retreat.
Would be cool if the pieces of Godzilla that broke and fell apart grew into a bunch of Godzillas. Now they have to deal with all of them. Maybe it’s during the Cold War with threat of nuclear war. Maybe other kaiju got hit with test bombs but that can be for a third movie I guess. Maybe the people need to get them to kill each other or just kill all of them or it just becomes an apocalypse. I do think it’s cool if angiurus and Godzilla were just natural competition in an ecosystem
OH THATS WHY HES NAMED GIGANTIS also i seen people theorizing that godzilla brain would become another godzilla woudl it maybe be gigantis in the minus one universe?
I have my own personal theory of what could be the villain. (This comment obviously spoils the Minus One movie). At the end of Minus One, we see Godzilla regenerating meaning he will come back in a sequel. But what was the mysterious thing on Noriko’s neck? I believe a small piece of Godzilla latched on to her, & rather than creating a second Godzilla, a new creature will be made. She is obviously in a hospital & if I’m correct, there were flowers besides her. In the 1989 film: Godzilla VS. Biollante, Godzilla fights a giant mutated creature known as Biollante. This thing is formed from a plant, woman, & Godzilla’s DNA. Conveniently, all three of these things (Godzilla’s fragment is still a theory) were in the same room together. These three things may end up bonding & create the monster: Biollante.
Wait... This makes sense though! Biollante is a loved toho monster that only has 1 movie and with that black splotch a possible mutated creature would be cool. Also, the black splotch grows as the camera faded to black.
I think the woman who got radiation poisoning at the end of minus one could mutate into hedora For those who don’t know what Hedora is, it is a gooey mutant covered in eyes that was created by pollution, and it could be tragic to see her slowly warp, as the guy character tries to pretend that it is fine, and tries to protect her, even when it is questionable if she is even in there
lol i thought about the idea of featuring rodan in the sequel, godzilla kills the female rodan and rodan decides to kill the entirety of japan so godzilla has to go save japan from rodan.
I'd love to see other monsters get the Minus 1 treatment like Mothra or Rodan both previously had their own solo movies but eventually just became supporting characters to Godzilla so i'd love to see Mothra Minus 1 or Rodan Minus 1 not that i would actually call the movies that.
-1.0 feels like a great stand alone film, sequals would make the idea dry Like shin godzilla was a great stand alone film, and a sequal would be horrible
Ima be honest we definitely need a recreation of anguirus ever since godzilla singular point which introduce a take on the monster after years of being in the shadows since final wars it would be nice to see a recreation of him plus if there is going to be a 2nd minus one film anguirus would be perfect for that nostalgia from the first two godzilla movies even though i feel like minus one should end where it had ended the big cliffhanger at the end of the movie really can put excitement and thoughts on a sequel but if there will be no minus one sequel then thats fine it was a masterpiece toho has made just like all there other films and even with though it wont give the same feeling as the classics legendarys take on the gaint radioactive creature will be fine for years to...... come

Nah not dropkick one if they make godzilla minus one/five vs megalon minus one i would definitely watch the movie bro😂
It would be the exact same movie, Godzilla comes and starts destroying everything, humans mobilize to stop him and the story continues :/
I had much the same thought. That's why I'm actually writing a novel with this kind of idea in mind.
Oh cool, maybe you could release an audio book on your channel or something. That would be cool
I think this new Anguirus should be what Godzilla is in the Monsterverse, a protector.
Make them fight.
ゴジラ, アンギラス, ラドン, バラン, ゴロザウルス #godzillaminusone #godzillaminustwo ☢⌛☢💀
Nuclear Atomic Arms doesn't die, it multiplies out into the cold war, atomic arms escalation: Five Atomic-Dinosaur-Monsters all threatening humanities extintion from atomic war.
@@mawinstallation6626 Couldn't we just say Gorosaurus is an irradiated Allosaurus? Feels like that makes wayyy more sense for him than a Pachy lol
Sequel needs to be called Minus 2, so that would mean the need to make things worse for Japan than just ‘Godzilla’s return.’
People theorize that the thing growing on Noriko’s neck might mutate her. But do we need Koichi to go through that again?
I say have Noriko’s infection be slow, but this time Koichi is fighting for hope and determine to find the cure. Heck, Anguirus might hold the cure.
i’m hoping the movie will be called godzilla 2 or 1
I think the title would be “Godzilla Raids Once Again” or something like that.
Regardless if they do a Minus One sequel or not, Toho is gonna have to bring back a monster fight in the big screen. They've done two solo Godzilla movies in a row so a third one would be tiresome already.
My theroy is:
The wife dies from some kind of radiation sickness from Godzilla beam (when she got hit by the blast) and since in the end of the movie we see a spine like thing growing on her neck.
She's didn't die the radiation gave her an ability to regenerate
Godzilla-1: prequel to 1954 movie
Godzilla 0: remake of 1954 movie
Godzilla idk 1 I guess: remake of Godzilla raids again
Really?
I have one complaint though THE MOVIE WOULDN’T WORK AS A SHOW!
Name ideas for the movie: Godzilla minus 2, Godzilla 0, Godzilla+1, Godzilla Raids minus 1, or Godzilla plus one
Anguirus deserves some love
No💀 if a sequel dose happen, it’s likely coming out in 2026-2028 at the latest. There probably isn’t even a script ready for it
@@Supl3xcity oh ok
A sequel is a sure-fire way to cheapen one of the best Godzilla films of all time.
With how powerful Godzillas heat ray in that movies its gonna be hard finding a foe that doesn’t get evaporated instantly
I don’t think they should make a sequel to it, it’s a masterpiece of a film that doesn’t need a 2nd.
Not going to lie, I wish that anguirus in the thumbnail is the actual design in minus one style,
It would make sense that this could happen
I hope they take this approach. Raids again deserves a faith remake like minus one and Anguirus needs some love.... Gojira should still kick his ass though lol
I think Anguirus should be the monster Godzilla fights. Maybe have a scene where he goes into a ball (like in final wars) and godzilla shoots the atomic breath and boom another atomic blast mid air to kill angruius or make him retreat.
I hope we get them in order from when they were added to the Godzilla series.
If they added him, it should be in a way, like war of the Gargantuas
Would be cool if the pieces of Godzilla that broke and fell apart grew into a bunch of Godzillas. Now they have to deal with all of them. Maybe it’s during the Cold War with threat of nuclear war. Maybe other kaiju got hit with test bombs but that can be for a third movie I guess. Maybe the people need to get them to kill each other or just kill all of them or it just becomes an apocalypse. I do think it’s cool if angiurus and Godzilla were just natural competition in an ecosystem
What do y'all think the movie's title should be? My Guess is either GODZILLA: AFTERMATH or GODZILLA: ZERO
If they just modernized all showa films with modern technology I'd be happy
The angirus in the thumbnail is pretty good for what I assume is just pieces of minus one
OH THATS WHY HES NAMED GIGANTIS also i seen people theorizing that godzilla brain would become another godzilla woudl it maybe be gigantis in the minus one universe?
THIS IS WHAT I WAS THINKING
An updated version of Hedorah should shape shift since they are using CGI now.
Godzilla -1^34
sounds like you are standing to my upper right side
Since -1 got op abilities Anguirus could have op abilities too like the spikes from his back can fly around
Anyone but Kong.
Plsss I don’t want more nba players on the screen

godzilla 4D Ride 2021: *exist*
Some people say the sequel would make the movie trash but they've already hinted it at the end of g 1-
Godzilla -2 finna be crazy
I’m hoping for anguirus if the sequel ever gets made
addam have you seen they are allies you want to pit together.
I’d like to think that Anguirus would be the hero fighting against the evil that is Godzilla
Godzilla, Anguirus & Rodan VS Mutated Noriko 💀
I feel like toho owes it to anguirus to remodel him in the sequel
I think the woman who got radiation poisoning at the end of minus one could mutate into hedora
For those who don’t know what Hedora is, it is a gooey mutant covered in eyes that was created by pollution, and it could be tragic to see her slowly warp, as the guy character tries to pretend that it is fine, and tries to protect her, even when it is questionable if she is even in there
No, just no.
Minus one Anguirus could look fire 🔥
In my opinion, this is the movie that truly needs to be remade.
I hope we could get a minus one rodan and mothra!
lol i thought about the idea of featuring rodan in the sequel, godzilla kills the female rodan and rodan decides to kill the entirety of japan so godzilla has to go save japan from rodan.
2029, GoJIRa postive 1 raids for the 26 th tine ,never seen before
I'd love to see other monsters get the Minus 1 treatment like Mothra or Rodan both previously had their own solo movies but eventually just became supporting characters to Godzilla so i'd love to see Mothra Minus 1 or Rodan Minus 1 not that i would actually call the movies that.
-1.0 feels like a great stand alone film, sequals would make the idea dry
Like shin godzilla was a great stand alone film, and a sequal would be horrible
Godzilla Regenerated, Godzilla Rebirthed, Godzilla Returns or Godzilla Reborn.
Fun fact: a ghidorah minus one and rodan minus one technically exist are we’re used but not in the moive

Anguirus should be in more movies tbh
Ima be honest we definitely need a recreation of anguirus ever since godzilla singular point which introduce a take on the monster after years of being in the shadows since final wars it would be nice to see a recreation of him plus if there is going to be a 2nd minus one film anguirus would be perfect for that nostalgia from the first two godzilla movies even though i feel like minus one should end where it had ended the big cliffhanger at the end of the movie really can put excitement and thoughts on a sequel but if there will be no minus one sequel then thats fine it was a masterpiece toho has made just like all there other films and even with though it wont give the same feeling as the classics legendarys take on the gaint radioactive creature will be fine for years to...... come
Godzilla minuis 1 returns
Wait,Anguirus want revenge for Godzilla
I hope he attacks angirus then in the third movie or halfway through the second movie mechagodzilla comes up
There will NOT be a sequel, there already is. The original Goji 1954.
Bro, you can start dreaming because shin Godzilla has not came out with a sequel in more than 8 years
Godzilla plus two idea angirus varan and baragon in the sequel
Also year is 1954
Imagine if Godzilla gets his ears back
Ohhh lordie
Godzilla Vs Anguirus Godzilla Raids Again
a good name for a sequel would be "Godzilla: god incarnate"
wasn't that shin godzilla
what about Godzilla: dawn of destruction.
Then they remake godzilla vs kong and the entire franchise restarts
It needs to have Anguirus in it
Godzilla raids "again"
I think the film should be called Raids again even if there is no anguirus
I mean they never hinted out anguirus only Godzilla regenerating at the end credits scene
