“Can I get a bump from a road brother?” is a phrase I say to myself once a month or so
I drive a truck (not a semi) and call every person who drives a truck “road brother” and “truck brother”.
It just occurred to me, it took Griffin and Justin 11 hours to get to Vegas from LA, a trip that typically takes 4 hours.
Really, it's a miracle they ever get there at all.
And they were only 7min late!
And they were 7 minutes late!
To be fair. Its 4 hrs with a regular car. Probably 10 with a semi

Having worked in a lot of warehouses I have to say that the very thought of a driver being like "Sorry, I'm in a hurry" and ditching a trailer in front of the bays is awakening something dark inside of me

I'm a trucker as well, and I own this game. A friend once wanted to see if he could do it. I did the mission then set him up for a 90 deg sight side back, then went to grab snacks.
I came back to him having done a perfect 180 maneuver but he couldn't do a 90.

that's pretty funny. Might be practicing backing up though. I don't drive a rig, but I imagine that would be quite difficult

As someone who has driven trucks, yes. Truck life is “oh my god I’m way to big for this road/bridge/underpass/parking lot”
I was looking for a let's play before I bought the simulator and this one is the best! I was trying to eat my lunch while I watched this and almost choked myself to death laughing. When you tried to do that U turn and hit the limo it reminded me of my first time playing Euro truck which I love btw.
I used to drive a semi, way back when. If you want to make your trailer go right then turn your cab left. Makes no sense, like leaning into a punch but it works.
Anyway, thanks guys for the entertainment. I loved it.

As someone who drove transit buses on a university campus, yes, Griffin, "constantly dealing with the panic of 'I'm too big for this'" was a daily occurrence for me in vehicles that require a CDL.

As a former truck driver, I must say, this gave me some serious anxiety. Imagine this horror, but having real world consequences. That's the potential you had to live every day you pushed in that parking break.
Also, going one state over isn't really OTR. There are plenty of day drivers that do that sort of thing. For Griffen, it might as well have been a hero's journey. Haha!
This is legit one of the most underrated pieces of McElroy content I've ever seen. Griffin abs Justin talking about "cool truck pics" has me crying from laughing so hard.
Griffin is accurately portraying at least the anxiety of the logistics life. That said I would be horrified to hear ditto coming over the CB looking for a road brother.

I like how this game can handle more than two different car models for the traffic around you. It always takes me out of games like GTA when you're driving along and then for some reason, 8 of the exact same model of rare vintage car just happen to suddenly all be in the same vicinity all like "Oh yeah, this is normal. Don't mind us." Why is there an impromptu cruise night for Citroen SMs happening in South Central LA at 4 in the morning on a Tuesday? Are 65 year old, retired, French classic car enthusiasts really that busy that they have to squeeze in a car meet at such an ungodly hour, and in a high crime area, to boot? My suspension of disbelief scoffs at such a notion!

The McElroys are the heart and soul of the Polygon channel. :v There are some other people I enjoy watching/listening to, but if Griffin is involved I know it'll at least be good, if it's Justin and Griffin I know I shouldn't eat or drink because then I'd make a mess and/or choke to death.
