@deciax you should checkout Vexed, Terminal Sleep and infected rain just to name a few. They're all from different sub genres but it good to have variation.

The demon growl comes from a different part of your throat so with practice it's easy to switch between the two and some folks can do both at the same time, it's absolutely insane.

It's so cool how regular singing usually has a distinct difference between male and female vocals, but growls are FAR less distinguishable. We can all sound like demons haha
It is distinguoshable actually, im not sure how to explain it. But its often really fucking cool, wonder what makes it that way? Surely theres a biological thing to it.

For that you might have to look outside the United States the box play Justice hardcore as the guys the seven days even though I don't like them because of too many pop songs in there we used to listen to a lot of synthesized music vanities to listen to fabricated music on the stupid little flat drums birthday United States but we're about to get kicked because there were women bands girl bands running around stories fans that was just goofy guys that would dress up and play in all kinds of weather just to put a performance on for everybody they are fascinated by the guitar, I love hearing the violins in the background I love the ukulele I love the electric I love that we're getting bigger and better drum sets again. I love that they put actual Native American instruments into their music I like the way they put the Bands just go all out and have a good time

I remember growing up listening to death metal. But these women are amazing just there vocals. Both clean and dark!! 90.5 was the metal station in NYS of course we also had headbanger's Ball. Witch featured Alot of band's we see today but old now. Some are gone but there's still that few that are still kicking ass.
Another proven woman singing talent is Otep Shamaya Esquire that can exactly same way as this woman can sing metal.

Daedric has awesome vocals...reminds me of pioneer Angela Gossow... back in the late 90's
yep, it took me awhile to realize Arch Enemy switched the singer, from man (sry, idk his name) to Angela - the first albums with her were sick af. last album I've bought is 'Will to Power', still good, but not compareable.
Holy fuck. Look out Tatiana, you got competition now. On the note of elder scrolls themed metal bands, there are some real fuckin talents out there. Wether we're talking young scrolls(for the more rap/trap crowd) or my favorite, golden god. They go so fuckin hard

Seeing a woman sing these screams that have historically only included/supported men is so fucking BADASS 👏🏽🔥 I used to hate "screamo music" when I was a little girl, but I can't get enough now, as long as it fits with the song's themes & isn't just there to have someone scream w/0 relevancy or connection to the song in full

Check out one of the OGs of female fronted death metal, Crisis. Karyn Crisis was my idol. And to see so many women come forth and become even more brutal, is just incredibly inspiring and perfect. Women are metal af. ❤ Thank you for introducing me to this woman.
She was predated by Lori Bravo of Nuclear Death and Sabina Claussen of Holy Moses as they were both bands in the 80s. Women have been doing harsh metal vocals for a lot longer than people think.
