Banana Pancakes! Written by American folk rock singer/songwriter Jack Johnson, released in 2005 on his album, In Between Dreams.
This one is not a normal pick for me. It's such a perfect song, so beautifully played and expressed by Mr Johnson, that I felt a little shy about trying it, not quite sure what I'd bring to it. However I did try to put my own spin on it, which, in my case, always turns out to be a bit of a jazzy spin. And now that I've broken the ice with it, I think this one will be a great one to take on the busking circuit!
