Convection oven all the way for me. I started off with the press and hated it. You don’t need shrink wrap for the oven, all i use is heat resistant tape to secure my image.

I love watching your videos. You always have a smile on your face and in your voice. I agree with using a tumbler press. It's so easy and takes so much less time than an oven. I saw so many posts of people having trouble using an oven that I went straight for a press.

    I'm returning my tumbler press..
I can't get good tops no matter how well I tape them. I've tried super tight pressure, even looser pressure. Nothing I've tried gives me tops with white spots. However, my tumblers come out perfect almost every single time in convention oven.

For me.. I wanted to do different sizes and products. My press won’t do larger mugs, and tumblers. Buying multiple presses adds up and requires a good amount of designated storage and work workspace. And- one at a time. I think ultimately, the press is a better way to go but I now have both, and a heat press for shirts and flat objects.

I ordered a press and waiting for it to come in. I ran across your video. On your press do you have to rotate the tumbler? Or does it press it all at once. I’ve been watching many videos to get familiar with mine. Many people say they rotate to get a full sub on their tumbler. It made me curious, does your do a full press.

It’s so odd to me that people would use a confection oven as opposed to an actual sublimation oven designed specifically to make tumblers and many other items. Of course there will be issues using a confection oven, it’s not designed for sublimation.
