- This is the next in my series of 12" Singles from the 1980's.
In my view recording direct from the vinyl 12" single gives a better quality sound.
A great Disco track from 1981, released on 12" in 1982, that I have extended to nearly 10 minutes!

Same here! I'm now 62. I first heard this track while stationed in Colorado Springs, Colorado . I was either 18 or 19 when I first heard this; recorded onto an audio cassette by a friend's older brother for me after I asked him to make a tape for me. His side hustle was throwing parties at hotels and halls; d.j. ing with a friend of his; bringing in all of those milk crates of albums and 12 inch vinyl disco singles! That was one of my favorite eras of my life...and I knew it....because I was living it live!

I'm 60 yrs old. One of my favorite studio 47 club songs. Every time I hear it. It never gets old. Reminds me of the good times in my life. When I married Ronnie landice. Young and free. Living with your mom. And everything was good. Good friends. Good music.
I thought I was the only one, the older I get the more I'm in love with this music of my youth. It keeps me 65 yrs young. This was the shit man. Rock all the way out, makes you feel real good.
There is absolutely NOTHING out today that compares to this D-Train classic! I was just coming out of high school when this record hit the air waves! And to really think about it, 1981 was a banner year for a LOT of great R&B music that year!! And, a lot more to come during the decade! I was born in 1963, so like many of us here we saw more than our share of AMAZING music through the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s!!

When my dad was going threw it when my mother turned 26 and my dad was 29 in 1981 this song came out when my dad was working at pizza hut and sohio Ohio and my was working at Frisch's Big boy in 1981 when they lived on 2614 harbor boulevard in Sandusky Ohio the 2 years before I was born on 120 West parish in 1983 the song by call functioning was the number one hit on solid 1981 love train was another hit in 1982 when the year later before I was born my dad was working three jobs and after I was born my mother was working at friendly's ice cream
