Being there a couple of times. Most rich guys want one thing only from you: sex! No matter how well he treats you, it usually doesn't survive the 3rd date when he starts to send you messages about why it's time to stop seeing you. And after a couple of months, you hear he's in a serious relationship with someone of the same social class. At least I had some fun enjoying all the pampering.
I had three great loves in my life, first one I was 15. I went on to marry the mother of my children divorced 1983.., met Chris we were together till 2001 when he passed. I am now 78 my first love came back into my life, 63yrs since we last met. We had both thought about the other. Result we are now engaged and intend to marry soon.

I could talk...diagnoses in 1987, buried my first lover from HIV after 14 years in '93 then buried my second lover after 20 years in 2012. Everything in between was surreal. People shunned us. Tying to get home health care for my first husband was not easy, they went screaming as soon as they knew what he had as though it were leprosy. Then trying to get medical care at that time in NH the doctors would not accept us because they claimed they were "family" practices. All the while dealing with homophobia at work, lost me two jobs at a time when suing someone for that would never have flown. These men have history...and we were the forefront of the Stonewall revolution which is why now gay men and women can now go to a gay bar LEGALLY and not have raided by cops 'cause you were dancing with another man.
I don’t think he’s saying that it’s “gone” just that the kind of panic response from the public isn’t as fierce as it was back then. My Mom was a nurse in the 80s and 90s and told me some sad sad stories of even doctors shunning patients and refusing to give them care out of misplaced fear. It was very much a crisis in every sense of that word. So many people suffered because of it.
So sad to hear how many of them died before they could reach an old age. We as a community have lost so many strong men and great stories to AIDS, it's truly a shame what could have been and how many rolemodels we still would have left.
Brent Foster that’s so crazy, my uncle who was also named Steve lost his life due to AIDs. I didn’t get to know him since he died when I was a toddler but I was always drawn to his stuff. My family kept a lot of his furniture and his chess set! Everything of his I always felt a deep connection to. Now that I’m much older and out of the closet it’s nice knowing how he helped me grow with being comfortable with myself even in death
I was still a kid when my theater director died of what they were calling "gay cancer" at the time. I was so dumb I commented on his new hairdoo when looking back it was obviously a wig because he lost all his hair. He was a sweet man and didn't deserve to die so young.

Miss Lady for real. It gets old fast. Ppl get used to it and become entitled. You indirectly and unintentionally create monsters, I used to pay for friends & exes often, not anymore.
They're cute, sensitive and genuine people with no fear of talking about their true feelings or emotions, a beautiful example of non-toxic masculinity, the world needs more people like you guys ❤
Hard work very hard but at first there's nothing like it especially in the beginning it's like being on top of the world and being able to do anything. That's my favourite part.
How freaking sweet are they. Literally all 4 of them. People with no taboos, open minded with great opinions about relationships and love. I’m 25 but I would love to hang out with them than anyone else in my age. These people aren’t old the tile is wrong their spirit is 20 years old.
"Someone who believes in you even when you don't believe in yourself. He was the type of person who could turn you around and give you confidence". That right there is what it is all about folks.
In those days hardly anybody would give us self confidence for being gay. Parents, family, friends, & coworkers would condemn us for our sexuality, they thought it was a choice. Our community had low self-esteem and all kinds of challenges. Young gay men today have it a lot easier.
They all lost relationships. It hit me like a train on the tracks to really stop and think about how many gay men perished in the 1980s and 90s. As someone who has only been diagnosed relatively recently with HIV, it makes me both bitterly sad for those who lost lived ones during this time, but also immensely grateful that I live in a day where because of incredibly effective Antiretroviral therapy, I will live a normal and full life.
Damn Robert and Mick look nice and quiet but every time they open their mouths to talk about their past and their experiences I die. These guys were WILD for sure, they only give us the tiniest bits of their stories. I'm sure they've seen and done all sorts of stuff. Ah wish I were as lucky...
It’s sad hearing how most of these guys relationships aren’t currently together due to their partner dying. Makes me realize they have seen it all and been through a lot. Makes me feel young.
My heart litearlly broke when they spoke about their partners passing. Ive fallen in love with them all and ive only watched two videos :( these men need to be protected at all costs.
These men are a hoot. Haven't laughed so much for ages. My favourite man is the African American. He has had to deal with racism and homophobia. None of these, guys, speak with any bitterness towards their ex-partners, in which I find enlightening and refreshing. Please! These guys are Elders, not old. Let's give all LGBT Elders the respect that they deserve.
I just think it’s crazy how literally everything we think we know will possibly become but a memory. Very melancholic to me but it’s more reason to live your best life imo..

Young gay men never see themselves aging and getting older. When you're young and gay you run the roads and live life fast. My former partner that died of AIDS 20 years ago told me, " so many men, so little time ".

The same reason why we've been watching heteros talking about their lives, loves, hates, divorces, problems, so on..
My sincerest condolences to all the former partners mentioned/shown who have sadly passed on...rest easy, sweet angels.
Indeed.
Bittersweet that was the end of most of the stories - but I'd hope they'd appreciate the "in memoriam shout-out" they just got.
He wasn’t even gonna pay for the dinner he was just gonna say “I’ll loan you the money”
penguino that’s probably why he was wealthy. Didn’t do anything for anybody.
lolol true
Probably tired of always being the one paying for things. I been their and it’s not fun
Miss Lady for real. It gets old fast. Ppl get used to it and become entitled. You indirectly and unintentionally create monsters, I used to pay for friends & exes often, not anymore.
Amber FFTFOMSICHTS Forreal and they get mad at you for not wanting to do it anymore they call you “funny acting” I’ll be funny acting then
They're cute, sensitive and genuine people with no fear of talking about their true feelings or emotions, a beautiful example of non-toxic masculinity, the world needs more people like you guys ❤
"why he tied them up and not do anything with them?" This man 😂😂
Hahahahah🤣🤣🤣
My thoughts exactly 😭💀💀💀
“It was not uncommon to find someone at the bar completely naked.” Okay wasn’t expecting that.
Katie Fluke it was the 70’s in gay discos 😂😂😂
In the 70's everyone was doing cocaine and Quaaludes. Uppers, downers and everything in between!
David Bouchard that sounds like my bachelor party.
San Francisco, baby. Check it out someday.

- what are your thoughts on romantic relationships?
+ I think they are wonderful if you can get one
Jessay is such a mood.
Nobody does that now. Rudest most unsupportive people ever
It's hard to find such a partner even now.. I believe people have become more insensitive these days.
BLACK TRULY DOES NOT CRACK!!
I'm just in complete disbelief at how little Jessay aged. 😮
I was thinking the same thing!!!!
Same look, different facial hair. The power of moisturizer.
Yeeesss and he’s so damn handsome
@@OfficialMickeyJSabb Finer than a barrel of old wine.
@@marksuckinbgber It's not that deep, Mimi.
"He had very interesting taste in what he liked to do , so i let him do it to me " 😁😂 iconic
Not to mention he NEVER said no! Not even once! That's crazy! Mick is a super freak and we didn't even know it.
Cancelledkay
I had the strangest internal experience as I realized Mick essentially had a Daddy Dom
😧 I just got the joke 😭😂😂
imaging asking to go out on a date those days, that's courage.
That's not courage it's pure live
I assume the average person would see them as just friends hanging out
"you look different from today."
"yeah, it's called love.”
AHHHHHH

They all lost relationships. It hit me like a train on the tracks to really stop and think about how many gay men perished in the 1980s and 90s. As someone who has only been diagnosed relatively recently with HIV, it makes me both bitterly sad for those who lost lived ones during this time, but also immensely grateful that I live in a day where because of incredibly effective Antiretroviral therapy, I will live a normal and full life.
Bless you. 💖
Yes you will Jacob! 👏🏾🙏🏾 ❤
@@ClaireDeLuna09 thank you
@@jovan628 ❤❤
Excuse my question but how did you catched it? And how are you after hearing this, that surely must have been a shock!
It's so sad hearing that most of their past relationships have died
:( that hit me right in the feels
CrispyBaconBits AIDS was a dark part of the lgbt community
@@ocieltorres4148 yup..
They are the worst just laughing at each other like teens.. lol 😆
omg Jessay hasn't aged a day in his life
Black don’t crack
@momo bb dd true
Casey yes he’s very handsome ❤️
True, he's beautiful 😍 and such a lovely heart too 💕❤
Yeah jessie looks great with no hair
3:05 Bill was doing the absolute most to make him cry lol
Grimes right?! “Was that traumatic for you?” “Yes. Very.”
Grimes bill wanna know them deep fckn answers lol
This made me cry SO ugly. I love listening to their stories. Every single one of them is just teeming with love & light.
Damn Robert and Mick look nice and quiet but every time they open their mouths to talk about their past and their experiences I die. These guys were WILD for sure, they only give us the tiniest bits of their stories. I'm sure they've seen and done all sorts of stuff. Ah wish I were as lucky...
It actually makes me tear up when they mention partners dying between 1989-1999
Yeah that was my thoughts too, the era was a scary time. Sad
Im guessing AIDS
@@richardarsenault1471 Yes we were there to see it from a small virus called AIDS. 🏳️🌈
Kaleb H frr do you know how long i will be crying when they announce their death one day??!
Ohh AIDS right? I hadn’t realised that, how sad
The others laughing while Mick was explaining his story is the kind of friendship I aspire to have
It’s sad hearing how most of these guys relationships aren’t currently together due to their partner dying. Makes me realize they have seen it all and been through a lot. Makes me feel young.
l love how the first guy is asking questions and really listens. he cares😍
My heart litearlly broke when they spoke about their partners passing. Ive fallen in love with them all and ive only watched two videos :( these men need to be protected at all costs.
"We went to a place called The Cauldron"
Everyone else: OOOOHHHHHHHHHH
69th like ;)
4:03
i dont know what the cauldron is, but i want to see a doc about it now LOL
The first guy looks like he’s still in love with that boy. How his eyes sparkle while talking about him-🥺
"Why did he tie'em up with he didnt do anything with'em" has me dead
He saw the film 'Rope'
🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
“We used to go to a place called the cauldron”
Everyone: *ohhhhhhhh* 😂
😂😂😂
That was my fav 😂😂
,,Why did you break up?"
,,I would rather not answer that question."
,,Got it."
,,Another man?"
jfjfodjrjjdj 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
These men are a hoot. Haven't laughed so much for ages. My favourite man is the African American. He has had to deal with racism and homophobia. None of these, guys, speak with any bitterness towards their ex-partners, in which I find enlightening and refreshing. Please! These guys are Elders, not old. Let's give all LGBT Elders the respect that they deserve.
Gives me hope for the future
Bill is so cute, he laughed like a teen when the last guy was talking about his sex life.
I can't stop smiling I just love them so much!
Yep same 👍
Same!!!!
“We went to a place called the Cauldron”
Everyone: “oOoOoOoOoOoOoO”
What are they, 6 😂😂😂😂
The cauldron was a famous gay cruising club. Where people would go just to fuck and stuff like that. So them going ooooooo is prob valid lol
We're all 6 on the inside 😂
When he just recalled the bathtubs & people peeing on each other all nonchalant 😄
lmao no honey, they all reacted like that because they all knew exactly what The Cauldron was and some of them have probably also been there 🤷🏻♂️
Sounds like the Mineshaft in New York.
I just think it’s crazy how literally everything we think we know will possibly become but a memory. Very melancholic to me but it’s more reason to live your best life imo..
The guy in the checkered shirt has been alone for 23 years wow. I want to give him a hug
Bill 🙃
@47 47 what.... He's gay
@47 47
you read the title right ? you know what gay is ?
@47 47 Tasteless
I have a feeling he needs more than a hug... 😉
Gays have been shady since forever 😂 when the last guy was talking and the first 2 were bustin up ... Lmao im them
Edit: wow i feel famous now (the likes)
Francisco Corral I swear that would've been me too!!!! Mannn they've both set the tone and are the personalities of this whole video. It sincerely gave me LIFE !!! 😂😂
“We went to a place called The Cauldron”

Jesus, I am melting. These guys are so thoughtful and nice to each other at the same time they are so fun and quick with these clap backs. Just wonderful. I wish the best to them.

Producer: what are your thoughts on a romantic relationship
My guy: “I think they’re wonderful if you can get one”
😂😂I’m dead
Same!
Well that’s true, better to not be in one then be in a toxic or difficult relationship.
The great thing about the truth is that it’s simple 😅
“i’ve been all alone in the world now for 22 years” I volunteer as Tribute!
Young gay men never see themselves aging and getting older. When you're young and gay you run the roads and live life fast. My former partner that died of AIDS 20 years ago told me, " so many men, so little time ".
@Lana Joy I am and do, thanks. What about you ?
@@rubencohen2936 Sorry to hear that. Sending love your way x

Sure they do, it would be nice to see old lesbians talking about their past relationships. #LGBTQ+ 🏳️🌈

Most of us are still in love with our exes, or at least I am
I have love for him. I am not in love with him.
