This isn't a spoiler because it never gets shown in the anime, but in manga it's shown that the skypieans, shandians, and birkens (enel's hometown) are originally from the moon. That's why they all have those wings even tho shandians lived in the blue sea. Enel did in fact go to the moon and he vibes with the moon people.
Oh yeah, the cover stories, nice recall. I don’t know why the anime didn't adapt it like the tiny Buggy looking for his body episode.
But there are no more people on the moon now, just the little bizarre robots those three peoples you mentioned left there when they came down to Earth, no?
Then Enel just keeps living there with those things... That cover story is such an acid trip, I think we even got some aliens there at some point.
@@Anna-and-cow I heard the reason they stopped adapting cover stories is because they wanted the anime to only show the strawhats, because people like the strawhats the most. I wish they would show all the cover stories so that instead of slowing down the pacing to not catch up to the manga they could show these stories instead.
@@Gopal__S There's literally no way this is true because some of the stories directly intertwine with the adveture.
@@aerth6946 The buggy and coby cover stories made the TV ratings drop which is why they stopped doing it.

i'll never not stop saying it, Skypeia IMO is an arc that defines One Piece, it had everything, and more, one of the best arcs ever.

@@musabs5848 With the recent chapters though, either Oda threw as much easter eggs as he can, or je's just brilliant to tie what happened in Skypeia to the recent events of One Piece. Either way, all hail Oda.

And I kinda get why peoples don't rate it that much but its also the perfect showcasing of Oda's talent, creating an entire History which you can help but feel empathic for, and a great antagonist on the other hand 🙏

After the Skypiea Arc, Eneru appeared in Manga covers as he reached his so called Endless Vearth and we won’t be seeing him in very long time nor we don’t know when will Luffy encounter Eneru again in the future

Enel's True Objective was to seek the "True Endless Vearth"/ Endless Dirt (Origin of the War) since Upper Yard is Limited Resource, Why not Try the "One Constant Piece of Land" he sees?
Eneru's power in Skypiea are as advanced as the new world. If it wasn't because Luffy is his only weakness then nobody could stop him as lightning is really powerful against any other devil fruit power
I searched the old depiction of Japanese lightning god (Raijin).
Most of them have some kind of beer belly. I think that's why Enel's ultimate form looks like that.

Oda's inability to kill characters strikes again with Pagaya, but honestly, the rest of this final act is so fuckin good I'll overlook it.

I love this arc and it is one of the most important arcs I have seen yet. Luffy singing is also the greatest thing in the world. If you can find the remix on UA-cam of Luffy it is worth a listen, Luffy sounds like he belongs in a night club.

idk if it was foreshadowing(it probably was) but when we found out things about luffy it made me think of this moment when the people were actually praying to god and that timing when he brought out the sun when he dispelled enel's attack
