I’m glad I came across this because I would love to try and make it myself .

@@ChineseHealthyCook It looks like it has a Teflon coating. Does it? I don't like Teflon for two reasons: It is a carcinogen and no matter how careful you are, little bits will get into your food. (For example when you skimmed the foam, the skimmer scraped the pan and if that's Teflon, some got into your food.) I also don't like Teflon because it gives off fumes when heated and kills pet birds.

Nice recipe. Question.... Why to you remove the impurities in the first boil if you’re going to throw out that water and start with all new water in the second boil/soup anyway ?

I have to say that my sister’s bone soup was richer because of bone marrow while mins is lighter. You may try either 🤗

We don’t add soy sauce to the soup. It will change the taste of the soup. You may serve with soy sauce to your liking 😊

you poured out the pork flavour. Why? Too cloudy?
Normally first boil removes impurities. No worries, we don’t lose much with quick boil 😄
Recipe wrong, I poured out water from 1st boil that has ginger, green onion & wine
That’s how we make the soup clear. You may add ginger and green onion for the second time.
