The first seltos guy could have hit that tempo. Its clearly visible that the driver pulled a panic maneuver. He got lucky.

I can clearly tell that megnite driver is not an experienced driver.
In India drivers are still not used to of driving on superfast expressways, they still treat them like their neighborhood streets.
He panicked badly and came to an stop still on an expressway.
You don't come to a stopstill on an expressway untill unless it's an absolute emergency like their is no way forward.
I've seen countless videos of inexperienced highway drivers treating highway like their neighborhood streets in terms of changing lanes, slow driving on fast lane, etc.
I've also been in 3 situations exactly like this, out of which 1 turned into multi car collision.
A wagonR driver was going in front of me, i was maintaining safe distance.
He saw a couple of cows on the divider very far ahead (not on the road) and he came to stop still almost like 100-200 meters before them.
The average speed of traffic was around 120kmph. I barely managed to avoid crashing by swerving into left lane, but 3 cars behind me couldn't. They all crashed.
What the wagonR driver could/should have done is that
1. He could have kept driving in the same lane, at reduced speed of 30-40 kmph, giving ample time for behind driver to react yet still being in complete control of thr car to stop if the cows jumps in front.
2. He should have given turn indicators and changed lanes safely as there was enough time to do so before approaching cows.
What he shouldn't have done was stop on the fast lane on expressway when the path ahead was unhindered.

The 2nd incident is also known as tailgating i10 driver was continuously experiencing tailgate due to skoda and after that it came to Nexon. The fact is i10 driver always like to do tailgating 😊😊

I am still curious to know why did the magnite driver stopped in the first place ? I understood he wanted to evade the cone , so instead of continuing to drive why did he stop so abruptly
he wanted to argue with the workers by stopping his car in high speed lane. But he ended up with other act

Well just putting a single cone on a highway with 120 as a speed limit is pointless, and even though they were working on the barrier/divider in the middle, the cone was far too away into the Fast lane.
Even though the I10 crashed the driver was good as he apologies about his mistake which in my openion pretty rare people do these days.

2:15 genrally there is a Man holding a red flag in such scenario's on Hyderabad ORR if there is repair work or landscaping maintenance... here there was no such indication hence the accident has been caused

120 speed last year re installed. Earlier from 120 km/h it was reduced to 100 km/h as people are driving even 150-180 km/h. Traffic on Hyd ORR is huge now & 120 km speed is wrong limit.

There is a proper "work ahead" signboard exists, but I do not think I ever saw them. Many a times I saw road work just after 80-100 kmph speed sign and without any warning. As I ride bike, this is really scary situation. Bike riders can not apply sudden brake, or swerve at high speeds like four wheelers do.
Lesson from this video, keep speed limit to 80 on indian roads because brainless people on road is high. Even though i need it to be 120
I frequently travel on this ORR most of the time my observation is that whenever any work they do they keep the cones close to the working place on they do the maintenance of plantation and other activity, even I faced same situation it's was near miss.
The maintenance guys on highway need to put in some blinking lights well above the ground so that they are visible from a distance , many accidents have been caused due to missing warning and reckless driving
There should be some awareness on how far the cones and boards must be placed. For 80 - 100 kmph the cone and board must be placed 3 * 80 or 100 = 240 or 300 mts. This allows for safe breaking distance

@Prateek.. I always see ur videos.. In fact I sent one video to you as well.. The problem while driving in India is poor communication to the fellow drivers.. I live in Dubai and have driven cars in the US, UK and Europe.. In India people consider hazard lights as parking lights.. but they don't know that in such an emergency situation they need to use hazard lights ( parking lights) to the fellow drivers that there is a hazard ahead and please stop.. Had these signs known to them this collision would have been avoided... Anyways.. just a simple message to all please drive safely..
I have noticed may i10 & i20 users do this. They somehow think they can go anywhere. I hate the fact that such a balanced car is misused this badly.

Prateek Ji, we need some robust training or laws for road safety. Do gaari ke between jo distance rakhte hai, uske andar sab bike, taxi, tuktuk, aur koi gaari sab aake ghus jaate hain. You have to be pro to drive in Indian traffic conditions.

Mera Nexon mein bhi aise piche se ek bike thok diya tha. Local mein to ho jata saste me hi par maine insurance claim karwaya .. Toh SC ne Total Tail Gate, Rear Bumper and Rear Skid Plate change kar diya. Total bill was around 50K. Mujhe filing charge 1500 dena tha.
