Snare dampening would be to make a snare drum wet. You are talking about snare damping, which is similar to muffleing. Sweetwater, the company who put out a video calling the lugwig lm402 "a steel shell drum"
I have the M80 and it constantly flips up during playing. Yes - I hit hard. I have to fold both arms in to the middle and really tighten the head to get it to not flip. I have tried it all over the hoop in all configs. I had really high hopes but was a bit disappointed, to be honest.
Great looking cymbal bag. I think we need a demo on those muted drum heads. They seem to be an improvement over the duck tape idea on the underside on UA-cam but are used on some gigs.
I thought if you played bongos with sticks you would mess the head up. I looked it up and the info that I found stated " If the sticks strike the rim's to much you can damage the heads ."
The bass drum port cutter is not the easiest thing to use, especially if you're trying to cut a small port near the collar, which requires cutting the head face up, since the collar would get in the way of the cutter if you try to cut face down. This means the area being cut isn't touching the floor/work surface, so you'll need to put something underneath it, preferably something that the cutter's center pin can get into, like corrugated cardboard, so everything is more secure. One of the guys at my local drum shop tried to warn me off of buying it, but I bought it anyway, because I didn't have another way to do it, and not knowing all this beforehand, I had difficulty making a clean cut.
The best drum key is relative statement, we all have our "best drum key", but now there are hundreds magnetic drum keys with rubber top...mine favourite is non-magnetic Sonor Gavin Harrison drum key...it spins like crazy, you don't need a drill😁
I'd love a magnetic version of my favourite drum key. I use the generic Tama drum key with the knob on top. Fast spinning, comfortable to hold, I can hook it onto a clip on my stick bag, but one thing that it does great is that it's heavy and rounded and makes for a great 'hammer' to hit the drum close to the rim and check the tension of a lug. Not many other keys have these features combined.
Don’t get me wrong here… I LOVE Sweetwater! They’re my go-to retailer. But this video is either made for soccer moms or housewives. Good gifts (perhaps? Maybe junk?) for kids and teens. A real drummer wouldn’t want anything on this list. *except the head/hole cutter and maybe the “leather-daddy” beater 😉
This holiday season, wow the drummer in your life with these awesome gifts! Shop the list at Sweetwater 👉 imp.i114863.net/vn7Rrj
Nick could talk me into a pyramid scheme while literally saying it's a pyramid scheme every 5 seconds. I don't care. I would buy it.
Makin that money that pyramid scheme money
“Now it’s a pyramid scheme but look at how great this snake oil is”
4:26 ohhhhh 😂😂
I'm a drummer and Nick could sell me just about anything percussion... great salesmen and an amazing drummer.

Some great stuff for sure! And a great video too. Thanks for sharing 🤘
I use the EAD10 with Black Holes head with the BH triggers, and Zildjian low volume cymbals. I absolutely love it.
Just the video I was looking for!
Awesome as always!
Nick, you're a natural on the sales floor! Best of success with Steve Hackett.

Jolly ol' Saint Nick.

I used the tips you gave me (@ the Rhonda Smith session) on strengthening my weak hand. I'm much improved now Nick. Thanks!

Hot can trick🥵 don’t try this at home
Love the thumbnail!!!😆😂
I can see those Evans practice heads on a hybrid electronic drum kit! Add triggers to the cymbals and yer good to go!
As soon as I play the Sela Melody I'd feel relaxed for about 30 seconds before one nabor bags on My wall and the other blasts his music till gone 3am.
Great video Nick, we love you can't wait to see some more gear reviews 🤘🫡
Are you guys going to do hottest gifts for DJ's too ?🥺

OH the best!!
-Indiana Love! 🥁
Is it just me or does Nick remind you of Jon lovitz ,the liar from SNL .
LOL cool drummer though, with a voice of Casey Kasem
Snareweight ought to pay me for how much I promote their M80s. They are fantastic!

Cymbal bags are cool too.
If this was on drumeo it would be a 90 minute video. Well done plowing through these. 👍🏼
@sweetwater a clone bot for you to report.
If you mope and whine, at least be right; Drumeo's is shorter ;-)
It's a shame there isn't a Speed King double pedal (hint hint).
No, seriously, i would so buy that!
The design limits the ability to make it a double.
there's alway's a ludwig double pedal
@@walterwaller Actually not. I could do it. Ludwig 🤙
@@gostbatsohg Bur not a double Speed King!
With out looking I would swear this was Casey Casem talking
Why does no one ever talk about how Nick literally looks like Jon Lovitz
You can make a Kalimba out of a piece of wood and coke cans.
No, you can make a Kalimba out of wood and coke cans. Hey, that reminds me I need a 12pk.
✨✨👏👏
the drummers not too loud, the guitar players amps too low
Remo doesn’t have anything better than Evans. That’s right. I said it.
i do dig their emporer heads but i switched to evans just cuz they have more heads i like
🌹 💞
👍
Oh goodie!! Now a DW will only take 3hrs to tune instead of 6.
That evans torque key is garbage
Money pit.
I'm sure Nick's a great guy, but this is a hyper cheese info-mercial. Inauthentic.
He's having fun. The choice of any item is always ours. Enjoy, he's an entertainer which we all should be in the music business, right?
