I have rendered lard from a hog I bought and had butchered. Still have some to do, had done it in slow cooker. Good idea to get the trimmings off bacon, faster to cut down & render on stovetop. I love options!
Just found your channel. I have a question for you. If we can can lard, and bacon, wouldn't it be possible to can bacon fat as well? I cant get an answer anywhere. Lard is fat, ghee is fat, butter is fat, and so is bacon grease. Im alone and do like my bacon. I filter and save all my bacon fat and keep in fridge but running out of room. Plz let me know your thoughts. Thanks

I’m definitely ketovore and love the bacon grease! I use it in everything, sauté all my vegetables in it make all my gravies with it yummy!

I looked at this bacon and there were so many negative. Too big.
