Still skating beautifully after all these years.She has done so much for her sport. I still miss seeing Sergi when she steps out on the ice.
I was surprised to read recently she married for a 3rd time and lives in Canada.
I miss Sergei also. She skates with his heart.😪
Sergei will never be forgotten 💕 can't believe it as almost being 28 years since he left us.
Just not the same!

Simply beautiful. Watching her skate is breathtaking. I’ll never tire of it. Also, as she stated when so very young, as long as we can see her skate, we’ll always remember “her Sergei”. ❤

She has married a wonderful guy who also is an amazing skater, David Pelletier in 2020. Look up one of their videos. He is more athletic-looking than like royalty.

Katia has always been known for her graceful movement across the ice, and now it is like watching a truly gifted modern dancer. On ice. And such interesting movements-like the spin that moves across the ice and evolves into a spin in place. Imaginative. I always know that when I watch Katia skate, I will see something unexpected, something I have never seen before.
I thought the same.
God gave her the strength to skate again ❤️
Sergei will be forever missed that for sure❤️💕.

I saw them once but was far away and no cell phones back then. But I've seen her a few times, once at the rinkside. She's an angel with a steel backbone.

Everytime Katia skates,,i know SERGIE was always with her,,Goosebumps,whenever she do the skating steps,i see that they are dancing,skates,,together,At her age ,she still have that grace,,You & Sergie will be in my ❤️forever 3/2024

She is definitely a lovely lady & beautiful skater! However, being 52 does not mean she is a grandmother. Neither of her daughters have had children.

Katia is married to David Peltier-you know, the Canadian Olympic Gold medal winning pairs figure skater? She has 2 daughters. Her eldest is in her early 30s and her second daughter is in her 20s. For a lady in her late 40s/approaching her 50s, she is amazing. Time to let her grow into the beautiful lady she has become.

I love watching Katia skate; however, I always think of Sergei while she is skating. Why life plays cruel tricks on people, I don't know. Maybe to help show you are stronger than you think.
This cannot be a recent performance of Gordeeva. She was born in May 1971, so she should be 52 years of age in 2023 and a grandmother to grown up grandchildren!!
This is 100% a recent performance from April of this year (2023). She has been a lifelong athlete, so there is no reason she should not be this fit for her age. 💪🏻⛸
