Watching these videos now I can say that many fans idolized them because of their cheering, shouting and with standing ovation. They are now retired but the memories they left will never be forgotten. They were the greatest and the best performers the skating world have seen. Two goddess of beauty elegantly, gracefully and fantastically swaying and gliding majestically on ice. How I love to watch Scot show his affection and caress as he lifted Tessa. How he protected her as if she's a porcelain that will be broken when she fall. How I love the way Scot stared at her with so much emotion. If it's not love I don't know. Memories worth remembering. Fr. the Philippines.
My word they have a way of pulling the audience in. There are other skaters who are a real couple, other skaters who do overhead lifts and throws and jumps that might be more technically hard (in pairs, not ice dance I know), other skaters who are technically great, other skaters who have artistry.... but something about Tessa and Scott is a perfect combination. Even from a mile away you can tell they have magic. Every little motion or expression they are pulling you into their world more and more. All while making it look so easy that you almost forget that what they are doing should be scientifically impossible.
There is such joy in watching them skate this piece purely for the story and the emotion rather than the marks (although still magnificent at the olympics!) the artistry and passion blows me away every time I rewatch this❤️❤️❤️ it’s just perfection
Thank you for uploading this! I was on the other side of the arena and was in the process of losing my voice with other fans around me. It was even better since it was Tessa's birthday. This is pure magic.
You got such great footage of this! Thank you for sharing! We were so lucky to meet them in Calgary after the performance and they were so charming and gracious! So proud of them!!
To think they ended their 22 years together is still unbelievable I know it's hard for them both I wonder if they still are even friends and talk because last i heard it was there last dance and they ended their friendship with their dancing career because his fiancee didnt want him friends with her thats what I heard idk if its true

Moulin Rouge was their Swan Song. Farewell Scott & Tessa. You inhabited our dreams for 22 years. Now our dreams are ended.
