The thing that I love about Mel is that she doesn’t buy the typical expensive but tacky designer items (I’m looking at you, Gucci) but actually buys beautiful and classy pieces that aren’t meant to “flex” on other people 💕

I LOVE your “unplanned” Chanel earrings! They are gorgeous! While yes, they are large, but like everything else, you can pull it off. You could wear a burlap sack and make it look couture!

I got my first Micheal Kors bag from my ex’s mother as a gift when we first met. She loves bags and high-end brands so much. I’ve never thought I’d be interested in luxury items until I hangout with her a week in Vegas.
I changed my perspective towards luxury a lot afterwards and right now I want to work as hard as possible to achieve my favorite brands’s items.

WOW how do you pack everything in your suitcases?
Hi lovely, I packed all the boxes in my check in suitcases (boxes within boxes as much as possible and clothes to fill in the gaps) I then wrapped my jumpers to protect the edges of the bigger boxes so they wouldn't get damaged or the last time I actually brought some bubble wrap. Then I packed the actual items in my two hand carry suitcases. I also used my longchamp as my handbag and could fit a few smaller bits in there and hubby had a backpack too :)
Mel in Melbourne did you declare everything when going back? as you scan thro security do they not question why there are so many bags in a bag? I've always been afraid and curious.
good question. Because the whole point of taking the VAT off, is you should be paying tax coming into Australia. But nobody declares. But I'm thinking with this much stuff couldn't you get in real trouble for brining it all in without declaring. But if she declared it all, she would prob be paying more then the items would be in Aus Dollars hmmm...

Do you take your time to think about what to buy and what not? I know you can afford it. I just wonder if people who can afford luxury like that just buy whatever comes to their mind or if they actually take their time and think "How much am I going to actually use this? Is it worth it?" or if they're just like "I love this, I'm buying it"
Hi Julia, I can't speak on behalf of everyone that buys luxury however I do believe that the majority of those in this lux community do stop and think before purchasing an item. The term "worth" means different things to different people and what I may consider worth it, you may not agree with. I think we are all guilty, whether the item is a luxury item or not of sometimes just buying what we completely love although we know we may not use it as much as we should. There are collectors out there that may purely buy a piece because they collect LV limited edition pieces for example. I appreciate many brands and styles and 'love" many pieces, however I obviously do not buy everything I love otherwise I wouldn't have a wishlist lol or even say in many of my videos I have to think about it more. I hope that answers your question and thank you for watching! :)

I have question about buying a handbag abroad because I have always wondered , if you have pay an import tax for bringing the bags into your country of origin ?
