@@Iliveforanxiety oh yeah? But I mean they don’t do anything but live stream video onto a little screen that I look at through magnification. It doesn’t have controllers. It doesn’t play video games hell I can’t even watch netflix on them.
I love how these goggles are actually at a price that beginners can afford (even at $160), but still actually have some real innovation included too with the "forward/back" screen sliders. Innovation is something we haven't seen in a long while, even with the high end goggles. Hopefully these will force Fatshark and others to up their game...
Just curious as I am an engineer and work in RF as a part of my industry..... If those are not true diversity then my suggestion would be to use to exact dipole antennas, like the ones that came with them. Test the range with both antennas in the same plane (up and down) at a matching angle and mismatched. My guess would be that 2 antennas in the same polarity actually effect radiation patterns. For instance truck drivers use a matched 2 antenna set up a lot mounted at a calculated distance depending on freq. This creates a front and rear lobe for transmit and receive sensitivity. Hence most of the time they radio another driver the roads are mostly long straight interstates, this almost doubles the range but they loose the side lobes, also another benefit if not worried about local cb jargon. So you may gain in the front and rear of you more so then with a panel mixed with a circularly polarized antenna. These don't match electrically to RF and may be hurting range.

I was considering these as my first pair of goggles. The low prices stopped me from ordering. After this review I would definitely go for these now. Thanks for a great channel! Regards from Sweden!

Been at this a few months and love the hobby/sport. Currently rocking the eachine DVR2 box/feed bag style goggles that you "love" so much. I have been wanting to try the lower profile type but didn't want to plop down the cash and find out that my horrible eyesight doesn't allow me to use them. PThanks for all the good work Stew.

I've just started to get into FPV drone racing, got myself an eachine wizard X220S and looking for some affordable but good quality goggles. this video really helped me out with choosing and gave me a good insite on why these googles are such good value for money. Your review on the eachine x220S was the reason why i brought one and i am so happy with it, got the hang of flying fast and acrobatics. these googles you are giving away would really help me gain confidence, fly smoother and faster. cheers for the awesome videos for me to inspire on and keep them coming !!!
James Rudolph same here. Bought the x220S and these goggles too. Also bought the qx95c micro drone to practice in my home ! Cant wait to get everything in my mailbox🤗
I like the look of these googles, a compact sleek unit. I'm very tempted to get into fpv drones, having never done it before, and I'm learning a lot from your channel, thank you.
These seem perfect. Brand new to the hobby and just lost my kit in Houston hurricane so cost is a concern in rebuilding my gear. Thanks as always for the great review!
Hey Stu, I religiously watch your videos and have bought your $300 wizzard package recommendation + charging setup. The misses knows your voice now as it's who she hears alot if the time these days. Thanks for your advice. Would be very grateful for these entry level goggles , i like them alot and think they would enhance my FPV experience. Regards, Clayton
Wow, these look great and could really help bring more new folks into this hobby. Having a reasonable price could make it so new folks getting started could use these instead of box goggles. Best channel on the Internet, thumbs up and subscribed! Thank you for taking the time to make these videos and share them with all of us!
Love your work Stu! i read a few comments on anticipation of these goggles regarding the FOV of 28 degree.... you have once again given a legit honest review. Comment, Price is a great is a great game "adjuster" for the big names in the industry! keep up the great work buddy ;)
Stew! I'm glad you was the first reviewer for these EV100!! I definitely will get one of these because my box EV800 is starting to annoy for it's size... and it takes one full compartment of my bag!! About DVR, BG are selling one adapter for the EV100 and it seems well built. Finally; Yesterday I lost my 99 dollar drone, with Runcan 3 and everything, flying through many trees (or should I say jungle...). Reception was good but I think my Radio lost signal... A bit sad now but already thinking on 99 dollar version 2 :) A big "Olá!" for your wife and kid and "as always", thank you!
These look awesome for the price. I was really hoping they would be and I'm glad to see your positive review of them. I think it's time for Fatshark to get in line with their pricing!
For someone that needs reading glasses the duel adjustment is necessary. I live at least 100 miles from the nearest hobby shop that stocks FPV to try on. This set might be the game changer that will get me to order with out trying on before I buy , which is the only holdup I have to getting my Grand kids and myself into FPV. Thanks for the great reviews which has helped me make several decisions on what to start out with. Chuck.
So nice to see these goggles in a review! I can't wait to grab a pair of these. As some one just starting out the value is great! By far my favorite feature is the eye focal adjustments.
I've been researching fpv for months wanting to get into it on a budget. Thanks to this video I now know what to save up for. a decent amount of features you'd only expect to see on higher end products. some cons but not to many. They seen to be the best way to checkout fpv without committing to much cash. Great review bud.
I am very excited about these goggles. As a new to the hobby pilot I am eager to try these out and get rid of my box goggles! Price point is probably my favorite thing about them but also like the form factor and lens adjustment options. Thanks for the stellar video reviews as I use them before any of my purchases.
Crazy, I think I'm on the same boat as everyone else, I like the fact that you can adjust the width of the lenses and focus them. Don't got a drone yet but as soon as I saw your $99 drone video I've been itching to get one.
Hi ! A awaited review of these google. They look awesome for the price ! A good way for beginner to came into the hobby ! Thank for this review and your great contents ! :)
Gday Stu just wondering if you think the latency in the eachine otg fpv receiver for android (supposedly maxing out at around 100ms) is something i will be able to just learn to control the craft with or will it just not be enough? Can you recommend the best worthwhile for my dollar ,low latency goggles i can get just to get me up and flying. Using the otg receiver I'm not sure i was getting an accurate feed . Any ideas would be great thanks im just ghetto budgeting atm lol
These googles will be great for young flyers like my son, he is into learning this hobby( recommended age 14yr old, he have a few years to be there), Stew before you know it he will be FPV flying in no time. Great review
Hey I new in this and I don't want to start on this with a fatshark but this one you using in this video when you are using the FPV is and. HD or like de video you recorded?
Thanx guys this is gonna be my first FPV goggles and I'm. Happy to see what they are....if. You and grumpy gives a thumbs up after all the other reviews I have seen ...its a must these are good 👍 it all adds up
Good Da! Stew, Man I just finished watching the review of the (EASHINE) FPV googles, and waited for Grumpy Trev to give his opinion and then I sold and as a beginner this would be a prefect fix. Know that I'm proudly sharing your videos on my new drone community website and blog page, because you're really into the life style as your assistance in my making this happen is greatly appreciated. Thank You!
Thank you for putting all this info out there! I’ve been wanting to fly FPV since I was a kid (long before the tech even existed haha). Thanks to all your helpful videos I’ve been able or figure out what all to buy to finally get into the hobby.
Great video, I been waiting to see what these were like as i'm just getting into quads. Changeable modules would a good call for version 2. congrats on the first video on youtube with these.
I got the flykey after you and Trev were blown away by the long range they have. I've tried the fatsharks Dom v3 and I honestly prefer the flykey. It has no fan but I've never fogged and I live in Louisiana USA and it gets humid here.
I like the price point. I know very little about FPV and this would give me the ability to get into that part of the hobby at a great price. I enjoy your vids! Great work.
Thanks Stu for the review, I have actually brought these on pre order and waiting for them to arrive. I am so excited as these will be my first FPV goggles!! :) Keep up the great work you and Trev do, cheers
Hey Stu, I just got me a pair of these Eachine Goggles and it seems I have a really wide face. The goggles are too narrow for my face and I can't seem to fit it snuggly ? Any ideas or quick fixes or Suggestions on other type of goggles I can try ? Thanks in advance :)
great review, your channel is awesome you helped me get into quadcopters and now im thinking about getting into fpv. these a a steal. i like how these goggles are affordable have ipd and arent big and bulky

Thanks I was waiting for you review on these. I like the price but didn't know if it would be just junk. I currently use the old box style and wanted to upgrade to the next level. Thanks again
just getting back into the drone and dlg flying after a long time off just bought a qx7 and Liftoff so the price point on these is awesome and I need to purchase a pair soon but stil might go with Fatshark. Is the box version better for people with Stigmatisms or does it matter? Just something that crossed my mind
Hey Stu And GT, Thanks for continuing to review the products that us new guys to the hobby really need to see. since your review the presale price has gone up by us$60 you guys seemed really happy with the price/function does that still stand true or is this just a chuck out of wallet that could go into some AOMWAY Commanders (the Dream) i am sick to death of my box goggles taking up valuable space in my flying pack that could be used for more important gear. still just as conflicted but at least ive seen the pros and cons from a hands on experience now.

Im new to this stuff but i bought a pair to lean with 125.00 w/dvr 32g card. As the man in video said beginner goggles they work and Im learning FPV I'm 55 small investment to see if i even wanted to fly FPV, I'm hooked. Thanks for a great review.
I've just started to get into FPV drone racing,
got myself an eachine wizard X220S and looking for some affordable but good quality goggles. this video really helped me out with choosing and gave me a good insite on why these googles are such good value for money.
@@mattetoet these googles worth it?
Pixel for the price, yes. Since I never used other goggles, I’m used to the rather small FOV . I still use them and will keep using them
I like the look of these googles, a compact sleek unit. I'm very tempted to get into fpv drones, having never done it before, and I'm learning a lot from your channel, thank you.
I am just starting FPV and was considering a cheap box goggle but after seeing this will definitely choose these over a box set. Thanks heaps
Your the best drone reviewer and you so honest as a reviewer
These seem perfect. Brand new to the hobby and just lost my kit in Houston hurricane so cost is a concern in rebuilding my gear. Thanks as always for the great review!
Hey Stu, I religiously watch your videos and have bought your $300 wizzard package recommendation + charging setup. The misses knows your voice now as it's who she hears alot if the time these days. Thanks for your advice.
Would be very grateful for these entry level goggles , i like them alot and think they would enhance my FPV experience.
Regards,
Clayton
Excellent for a first time product. Really like the way you can focus the lenses to your eyes.
Wow, these look great and could really help bring more new folks into this hobby. Having a reasonable price could make it so new folks getting started could use these instead of box goggles. Best channel on the Internet, thumbs up and subscribed! Thank you for taking the time to make these videos and share them with all of us!
WOW finally a review of the Eachine ev100 goggles. I really like the look and style and especially the adjustments. Now I just need to win.
A bit sad now but already thinking on 99 dollar version 2 :)
A big "Olá!" for your wife and kid and "as always", thank you!
I think that these goggles are great for beginners who don't want to spend a lot of money. Thank you Stew for reviewing this product!!
I've been researching fpv for months wanting to get into it on a budget. Thanks to this video I now know what to save up for. a decent amount of features you'd only expect to see on higher end products. some cons but not to many. They seen to be the best way to checkout fpv without committing to much cash. Great review bud.
Bro I can NOT get enough of these videos! Birthday is in 3 days and I’m definitely gonna have to buy myself a little present
I am very excited about these goggles. As a new to the hobby pilot I am eager to try these out and get rid of my box goggles! Price point is probably my favorite thing about them but also like the form factor and lens adjustment options. Thanks for the stellar video reviews as I use them before any of my purchases.
Stew,
What would you say is the better goggle. The Flykey Rafael or Eachine EV100? They are similar in price.
Great and simple to use for someone (a beginner ) who understands fpv and understands the product the are paying for. Awesome review !
question will a rapidfire module work with the EV100 if I use the skyzone module adaptor
Dude you are helping me save so much money to get into fpv!! This is awesome! Forever subscribed
Thanx guys this is gonna be my first FPV goggles
and I'm. Happy to see what they are....if. You and grumpy gives a thumbs up after all the other reviews I have seen ...its a must these are good 👍 it all adds up
And how are they?
This is supprot for MJX Bugs 2 B2W ??
I like the price point. I know very little about FPV and this would give me the ability to get into that part of the hobby at a great price. I enjoy your vids! Great work.
Thanks Stu for the review, I have actually brought these on pre order and waiting for them to arrive. I am so excited as these will be my first FPV goggles!! :)
Keep up the great work you and Trev do, cheers
Good luck --who will get theirs first ---$99 or $160
Robert Telfer so how are they?
Hey Stu, Thanks for reviewing these - trying to save up to get into the hobby and this is super handy.
Hey Stu, I just got me a pair of these Eachine Goggles and it seems I have a really wide face. The goggles are too narrow for my face and I can't seem to fit it snuggly ? Any ideas or quick fixes or Suggestions on other type of goggles I can try ? Thanks in advance :)
so do these beat out the fatshark recon v3 box goggles? Around that price
Hey stu, looking at buying a pair of these goggles. What antenna upgrade do you recommend for these?
great review, your channel is awesome you helped me get into quadcopters and now im thinking about getting into fpv. these a a steal. i like how these goggles are affordable have ipd and arent big and bulky
I like how they are cheap enough and with enough good features, weight, comfort, adjustability etc. to encourage newbies like me into the hobby.
That pricepoint is just amazing. wanting to start in this hobby for some time now. maybe this is the moment to join the train!
Ive been waiting for something like this to come out! Price is amazing and it's the best entry goggle I've seen yet!
I'm impressed with the individual focus adjustments. Eachine are on a course to making quality products that directly compete with the big boys.
For the first ever goggles i will buy, and Im just starting FPV stuff, is it MUST buy the good antenas or is the ones it comes with just good enough to survive?
Thanks I was waiting for you review on these. I like the price but didn't know if it would be just junk. I currently use the old box style and wanted to upgrade to the next level. Thanks again
Thanks for reviewing these so quickly I feel really good about my preorder now
just getting back into the drone and dlg flying after a long time off just bought a qx7 and Liftoff so the price point on these is awesome and I need to purchase a pair soon but stil might go with Fatshark.
