They also talked about a prognosis that androgeny will be a big thing in the future - and what do you know, it is. They are making fun of shit but they also actually talk about sciencific approach to those same topics. I'm a firm trans/multiple gender supporter and there was no issue brought up in this show that I didn't agree with or didn't laugh at. They also make fun of fat people but then say they understand that it's an addiction that we have to fight with. I'm afraid they are more "woke" than you realize.

He is saying it's not the same as sickness such as AIDS or autism, not that it's not an addiction, which is 100% true. He also explained that it's a natural thing in mammals since we have an instinct that tells us to preserve fat. Steve has expressed before being disgusted by fat people, actually more than Ricky - who imidetally began explaining that it has to be fought against and Steve agreed. Also, about the "new" set... Was it the one about the trans athlete? The one where Ricky was in his "no beard era", recorded with a shitty camera? So probably around 2007? He has come out multiple times stating that his jokes are only jokes and he is supportive of trans people. Is it the truth or just confirming? It's only his truth to know but you're ignoring the majority of his point for the sake of wanting him to support your point. I personally find some of his jokes in poor taste, but I won't ignore him also taking his time to explain the scientific approach to the issue. I don't think you listened to full XFM podcast if you're unaware of them talking about some of those points before. They also talked about androgyny being a big thing in the future, according to some scientists - as in, "male" and "female" not being needed, only a "sperm" and an "egg" (their words, not mine). Curious that, innit? You're also ignorant of current famous youtubers among the gen z - JSchlatt and SwaggerSouls for example. They are still huge, Jschlatt is considered a modern genius of creating a comedic persona. They are also majorly offensive. The difference is, people understand that it's a joke, not thinly veiled vitriol towards people that are different.
