Sound real good ken keep up the good work thanks again on those part numbers for the gen v head gasket can’t wait to get my gen 5 sounding like that it’s in the machine shop been in there for 3 months almost ready same set up as yours
i just tore my gen v with a thumpr out of my truck to do oval port 4th gen heads (turned out to be old school ls3 heads), dome pistons for more compression and roller rockers with a torque converter
i put the big muther thumper roller cam in my 454 and havent started it yet. how was the power on the street ? also hard to time? thanks and sounds good.

Aftermarket heads I’m assuming? Been looking at cams for my 454 build but I’m using stock heads and I’ve gotten flip flop information on the thumper cam about having to do machining for the lift it produces. Oh and that thing sounds beautiful, very nice build ya have there!!

Kinda reminds me of a 63 GTO my grandpa built as a teen. Thing had a 428 with a stage 4 in it. Used to be one of the baddest cars in the state.
I had a 1970 C10 with a 454 that sounded just like it. It was painted Chevy orange
