I heard Tool for the first time this 2020 summer and I cannot get enough. I'm 58 and since Danny and I are both from KS I love them even more. Maynard's father was a wrestling coach and Maynard wrestled in High School. Those stances he takes are taken from wrestling stances, there is no doubt about it. Anyway, I share your love of Tool, it's like nothing I've ever heard, its a symphony of Rock. Keep up the good work!
This guy parents. For real tho early exposure to this music is so great. My dad played Rush and Black Sabbath around the house when I was a little kid and I'm in love with music as a result. You rock man.

Everyone in this band is the best in all of music at what they do... And when they play together, somehow they're even better, they elevate even higher. Unbelievable.
10:30 Danny actually uses a remote/"cable" hi-hat stand. He's operating the pedal with his left foot, but it's separated from the rest of the hi-hat stand, which he positioned between his bass drums. At this part, he's playing (very light) quarter notes on the bass drum, as well as with the hi-hat. From what I've seen, when he's keeping a consistent pulse on the hi-hat like this, I _believe_ he utilizes a sort of back-and-forth rocking motion (toe to heel) with his left foot; that's why you don't see him moving his left leg very much here--because he's primarily just using his foot.
It’s insane how he can keep two different time signatures like you’re listening to two drummers. I like his use of volume like in the cross sticking section. He’s definitely the best drum writer of our time.
This is a masterpiece of drumming! I never get tired of watching it! Danny is easily in my top five favorite rock drummers ever! His posture is remarkable! More impressive than the video is how Jack didn’t move in almost 20 minutes!😂

Hahahaha
Jack is rockin TOOL in his sleep. Great parenting indeed my friend. Great parenting indeed.
You cant beat holding your child in your arms......No comparison. The best feeling ive ever had
Brand new baby dolly. Omg! So sweet. Good way to start the boys off. On Tool!
When the little guy develops those neck muscles he’ll be a little head banger. Good job dad 👍
'Tool is so good' - Understatement of the century
Every musician I know or have ever seen has the same look on their face when they listen to Tool! It's like we can feel how good it is.
Lol I was turning up my volume
Split second Thought I was going to wake up your new handsome son
He sleeps like a Rock
Your Blessed!
Between the guys on Lost on Vegas and this Dude both reactions are inspiring for so many reasons. It's strange to say, but as many times as I've seen both it actually sets a good tone to my day or picks me up when it's been a rough one! The unintended consequence of just being genuine! UA-cam Emmy nominee in my book! Thank you!
To see a human being do it. Tool is exceptional for many reasons, but LIVE being the transcendence that puts them far above anything I've ever seen and heard. The studio versions, great as they are, pale in comparison.
Check out Ken Lavigne. His reactions are pretty awesome
Give it up for LOV
I couldn’t convey in the right way to people when I talk about my love for TOOL but you nail it. I was at this show in Boston with my 22 year old daughter and they didn’t disappoint. This band is a MONSTER🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Yes indeed. First time I saw Tool was in 2001. It was hands down, one of the best concerts I have ever been to. I saw them on this current postponed tour. Tears of joy were shed it was that beautiful. No other rock band can compare to these 4 geniuses.
Hey there Jack, you little cutie pie!😍 Are you having fun with your Pop's? I think you and brother's will eventually be entertaining him with a band of your own. Thank you for visiting us! Come back soon !☺💕👣
I got a newborn and we jam every morning! Teaching your boy right! God bless him from Alabama
