2011-2017 LEXUS CT200H Oil Change Walkthrough with Maintenance Mode/Reset Procedure

How to do an oil change on a 2011-2017 Lexus CT200H with 1.8L 2ZR-FXE
Tools/Equipment:
• Jack and Jack stands (or ramps)
• Toyota Oil Filter Wrench ( OEM 87130)
• Ratchet and 14mm socket for drain plug
• Drain pan
• Funnel
• Shop Towels
Parts:
• 0W20 Full Synthetic Oil - 5qts
• Oil Filter ( OEM 04152-YZZA6)

Is that a diesel CT? that oil is black AF...I've never seen it like that on mine

My brother did my oil change, the filter gasket was not in the proper location (too far down) on the filter and it spilled oil everywhere when the car turned on!!! 4qts of oil wasted. Still cheaper than any of the shops or dealerships near me. Local Lexus asks $200 for an oil change!!

My oil filter was tightened by fucking Thor.. I can’t get it off 😤
