12-15-2022 Moorhead, MN - Multiple semi/vehicles slide off- Interstate 94 ice- Hwy 10 ice packed

Heavy wet snow caused Interstate 94 to become snow and ice packed causing a chain reaction of slide off with multiple semis, trucks, U-Haul on Interstate 94 closing westbound till it was cleaned up, just 2 miles east of Moorhead, MN. Hwy 10 in Clay County, MN was also down to one lane in both directions as the hard packed snow and ice build up making the Highway dangerous for commuters.

Ah...fond memories. I used to work as a Mn. state Trooper in the patrol station just East of there. Winter storms were always busy and the work shifts went by quickly...sometimes no time for food or rest breaks. But it was a great job assisting the motoring public. No two days were the same, always something happening, it was a great career. Age finally caught up with me & I had to leave...but I appreciate the new troops out there doing the job.
