I think they give you the stickers because some like to put the diamonds on little containers (like you can see on the video) and you can put the sticker on there :)

Came to say the same thing!! 😂 I have many containers, with a small case holding the containers I’m using for my current project and other containers in storage in my craft closet. Hullo Chloe, I rather think the stickers for the "bags" are for alternative storage cups. In your video you show someone taking the "jewels" out of plastic cups with lids! The provided stickers would go great on top of those caps or on the side of the cups! I do enjoy watching you work on projects and I really hope you can get back to painting one day? 😂😂 I’m sorry I couldn’t help but laugh at your rage. This video made my day. Diamond art is fun and relaxing for me. I used Moriah Elizabeth’s code to get a kit like last year. It was a sunset over the ocean scene and it turned out beautiful. It’s so satisfying and relaxing. I also do adult coloring too 😊
I remember doing the needle punching thing as a kid with my grandma! ❤ I‘ve tried diamond painting during Christmas. I found a Bob Ross picture on a canvas that had a hut „coloured“ for diamond painting and I got some Christmas themed stickers. I have to say it’s not for me. I do not have the patience for it because I‘m not making progress as fast as I like. Something I struggle with in crocheting, too
That was how I felt about diamond painting before I found the Paintgem sets. They are are small size and can be finished in an hour or two. I love the immediate satisfaction I get with the smaller ones. I can sit for hours working on multiple of them at a time, but I can not get into working on bigger canvases, even though I would spend the same amount of time on them.
It is a finicky craft and you are right it isn't really beginner friendly but once you get a flow going it can be meditative. I like the sound it makes when it goes through the cloth.
just FYI for the diamond paintings, I would recommend applying a coat of mod podge gloss after you are done. It will keep the diamonds from falling over time.
Oh my gosh, Merlin was so cute! I love your videos, Chloe. I'm a young artist just going into high school, and you inspire me so much. I can only hope to be as good as you one day
I liked the diamond painting kit, I agree much better when it’s smaller ones. My sister and I did some on holiday last year, they’re still not finished cos they were too big to do on holiday and they’re just sat in a cupboard since! Great video 😊
14:00 Coming from Cross Stitching, I think the reason they don't label the bags is for easier packing. The symbols might change from project to project / box to box. This way, they only need to add a sticker sheet and put the fitting bags inside, while the bags are probably used for several kits.
I'm the exact opposite with the 5D painting. I'd hate something small like that. When I look for kits size is a big selling point. The bigger the better.
Aw, I’m sorry you had troubles with the lunch needling! My guess is that you either didn’t thread the punch needle correctly or you weren’t facing the correct direction. I’m only new to it, but I haven’t found it to be difficult. Once you correctly figure out the needle, I’m sure it will be a breeze! ☺️
The diamond art picture you didn't know what it was, I think that's a skateboard with wings! The available kits were SO cute, I couldn't decide which I would have bought from that list that you showed, so I think you did well to choose at all :D The painting with yarn thing looked like an absolute nightmare so I solidly commend you for sticking with it and actually finishing, I would have given up for sure! (And I taught myself to crochet, so, I have patience but holy dooly!!) So close to the 1 mil mark!!! I love watching your videos I would enjoy a part 2 and the deep dive. Also I bought the necklace you designed with Ana Luisa and I’m in love with it! So fun to fiddle with and it brings me so much joy. ❤
I got a couple of the PaintGem kits as a stay in date night thing, and me and my spouse have both really enjoyed them. I like that they are small and don't take a crazy amount of time.
I definitely understand your frustrations with punch needle. I tried it and nope. I'll stick to latch hook, thanks. I've also been crocheting for 18 years and I always found it easier than punch needle.
The gem kits tell u to label the bags urself because some ppl use little gem containers and so they want you to be able to label them how u want whether you use a bag, or something else ❤
How fun are diamond dot kitz! 😁 So relaxing! They look so nice at the end. Love the cassette tape, lots of memories in that haha👌👌 Yes!! Part 2 for other ones!!!
I picked up a diamond painting set in dollarama about 6months ago and I’ve been literally making rounds every few weeks since to find more🤩 obsessed!!!
A lot of people use a craft knife to cut the film on the diamond art in sections then your hands won’t keep getting stuck to the sticky bits say if your right handed cut the film starting on the left then you can rest your hand on the film without it getting stuck or top to bottom or specific colour sections ect 😊
Your She-Hulk experience made laugh (and commiserate) - I think we all have some craft or experience lurking out there that can unlock heretofore unguessed at amounts of rage. Also, I would LOVE a follow-up video on the Meta/Instagram AI thing! I hope you'll do one!
By the way if you just fold the plastic over and keep it on the rest of the sticky stuff you won’t get your hand stuck to it constantly. Then when you need to stop for a bit you can fold the plastic cover back over and stop dust etc. love diamond painting it’s therapeutic.
I imagine you sticker them yourself so that they dont need seperate bags for every kit. If "606"/Red is number 1 in a plant kit, but number 7 in a retro kit. You'd need a 1 and a 7 bag for the same exact red. But by labelling it "606", and having the kit have stickers, they make 1 bag type for 1 color, and then make stickers to make it match that specific kits layout. It's to make the colors universal across their many different kits.
14:37 as a diamond painter chloe doing everything wrong is killing me its called a wand not a stick u only peel the plastic of the bit ur working on and u cut or fold it back the red stuff is wax the diaminds come in different shapes but theyre mostly circles and just omg i just cant 😭😭😭
my sister got me a similar thing to the first kit, and i thought it was just me - watching you have the range of frustration, anger, annoyance and rage... it really helped me feel like it wasnt just me being a moron
I got diamond painting christmas cards one year and I liked it a lot since they were small like the ones you got. I think the retro set is perfect for the diamond painting look
I love doing diamond paintings. They are just so relaxing. The nice thing about the big ones is that they have the film that you leave on it so you only have to worry about the section that you are focusing on. When you need a break, you just make sure the film is on it and set it in a safe spot. You can really lose yourself in them.
It boggles my mind that you found punch needle more stressful than diamond painting. It’s so simple once you figure out the tension. I do think that it might’ve been the canvas that was causing some of your issues with stitches coming out tho. I got a kit from Michaels and had that problem till I got the fabric through the ring right (I realize it wasn’t in your control there but, the frustration might have actually been the kit) and the need for a particular fabric type for the stitches to stay in has made it hard to continue the craft for my own designs but, this site gives me hope I can get some supplies to continue even if it means I may have to change up my punch.(Most Michaels kits use thinner thread) Threading it also should’ve been easier for you though it definitely took UA-cam for me with the Michaels kit that said I’m legally blind so I have no idea if it was in the instructions or not
Moving again? I do not envy you. Although I think you mentioned previously that you had a lot in storage, so I hope you had less to do this time. I would get ragey too over that project 😂 I would actually be more radey with the diamond painting. I don't like intricate things like the really detailed colouring books, so those would not be my thing. I would also get annoyed if the gems weren't perfectly placed. I hate seeing gaps between them because some gems were placed too low or high or right or left etc.
I think they give you the stickers because some like to put the diamonds on little containers (like you can see on the video) and you can put the sticker on there :)
Honestly you could be right as I thought this during editing! The only thing that threw me off is it says “peel and stick on the gem baggies”

(And I taught myself to crochet, so, I have patience but holy dooly!!) Amazing video, thank you so much for sharing this with us, and I would absolutely love to hear your POV on the Facebook AI situation 100% 💜🌈✨
Definitely think you should do a part two
So close to the 1 mil mark!!! I love watching your videos I would enjoy a part 2 and the deep dive. Also I bought the necklace you designed with Ana Luisa and I’m in love with it! So fun to fiddle with and it brings me so much joy. ❤
Hey Chloe totally random but you should try going to an art store and picking things out with your eyes closed! And then make art with it!
rae dizzle did that!
I got a couple of the PaintGem kits as a stay in date night thing, and me and my spouse have both really enjoyed them. I like that they are small and don't take a crazy amount of time.
Definitely made me want to try it...also, it's upside down..:)
Yes we definitely need need a part 2 of this !!! and I would love to try the paint gems myself 😊😊love you❤❤❤
Jazza did a great video with his brother about artists and AI. It gave me a lot to think about.
I think you and he should collab.
I definitely understand your frustrations with punch needle. I tried it and nope. I'll stick to latch hook, thanks. I've also been crocheting for 18 years and I always found it easier than punch needle.
I wished with all my heart that you would turn that cassette tape the correct way around, lol. Cant wait for part 2!
Oh, I am so glad - a new video from you! Love it! Now I am going to watch it, and I just know I will love it. Always do! Hug from Katla in Norway
Part 2..Yes please! Diamond Art looks like so much fun! Xx
14:42 You can use that tool to pick up the diamonds for your Disney Castel project. 😊
The gem kits tell u to label the bags urself because some ppl use little gem containers and so they want you to be able to label them how u want whether you use a bag, or something else ❤
How fun are diamond dot kitz! 😁 So relaxing!
They look so nice at the end. Love the cassette tape, lots of memories in that haha👌👌
Yes!! Part 2 for other ones!!!
I picked up a diamond painting set in dollarama about 6months ago and I’ve been literally making rounds every few weeks since to find more🤩 obsessed!!!
16 minutes ago is crazy considering i'm on my lunch break. ily chloe!! your videos are always so fun!
You have made me finally want to try diamond painting
You should try mandala painting if you enjoyed the process of diamond painting so much.
A lot of people use a craft knife to cut the film on the diamond art in sections then your hands won’t keep getting stuck to the sticky bits say if your right handed cut the film starting on the left then you can rest your hand on the film without it getting stuck or top to bottom or specific colour sections ect 😊
Being left handed myself, I could never master any crafts like this. Including knitting, cross stitch, etc. Lok
I havent heard of punch-needle kits before, you always introduce me to new crafts! I would be the same about learning how to use the needle.
Hi chloe would love a 2nd part. Love diamond painting and their us a great variety of projects also come with square or round diamonds
Love your videos. Always so happy to see on pop up.
Thank you so much for your support in watching them, it means a lot!
One of the funniest reviews I have ever watched Thankyou
The diamond painting looks like beadwork done with Czech cut beads. I wanna try the diamond painting.
I loved this video so much. Love how real you are!! ❤
my sister got me a similar thing to the first kit, and i thought it was just me - watching you have the range of frustration, anger, annoyance and rage... it really helped me feel like it wasnt just me being a moron
I got diamond painting christmas cards one year and I liked it a lot since they were small like the ones you got. I think the retro set is perfect for the diamond painting look
Love your vids Chloe! You holding the mixtape upside down is sending me.
Thank you for talking to your inanimate objects. Now, I don't feel so all alone. 😆
Still one of my favorite humans. Keep being awesome!
I love doing diamond paintings. They are just so relaxing. The nice thing about the big ones is that they have the film that you leave on it so you only have to worry about the section that you are focusing on. When you need a break, you just make sure the film is on it and set it in a safe spot. You can really lose yourself in them.
My mom and I are doing a very BIG diamond art thing ❤❤❤ It is so fun to do❤❤❤
It boggles my mind that you found punch needle more stressful than diamond painting.
I hate seeing gaps between them because some gems were placed too low or high or right or left etc.
maybe that diamond painting is the perfect size because this must be the first video I've seen of someone actually enjoying it 😂
looks like fun 💖
Thankyou for another great video! I think the diamond art picture was a skateboard with wings. ❤❤❤
