Subhanallah. So much knowledge in just a few short minutes. May Allah bless you and guide those looking to beautify their recitation to the Overnight Qari course, Ameen.
The best things I have learnt from you and that has brought dramatic change to my Qirat was "1. Abdominal inhalation to full before starting Ayat to recite long Ayat...2.Recite from deep. 3. Project the voice to sound loud and not shout" Thanks a million times
thank you so much for sharing this ❤ ... I genuinely appreciate your kind words. Please keep me in your duas and ask that Allah grants me His acceptance and helps me to benefit more ppl for His sake
masha allah now your my teacher please make videos on all maqamat your vdos are so fruitful i learn a lot from those vdos may allah bless you jzak allah khair
alhamdullillah i am 11 and i am starting maqam to buetify my voice, alhamdullillah this helped me sound way better :D you earned a sub (i am watching your full series)
Asalamualykum. I have been looking for a reciter that I can listen to that uses maqam hijaz in the same style as you. Is there anyone you recommend? JazakAllahu khayran
wa alaikum assalaam. So the thing with maqamat is that they're gonna be expressed in a variety of ways ...that's the beauty of it. Even if I recite long enough in hijaz I might do a few diff things, perhaps touch on a few other maqamat as well. I'm hoping to post some longer recitations but in the mean time just search hijaz here on youtube ... if you type in arabic you might find more examples. And enjoy the variety!
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته I'm looking to study and learn Maqam Bayati. I've watched many videos and tutorials but I still just can't get it right. Is there a course that you offer that I can enroll in? Preferably a course less than 4 months time span? JazākAllāhu Khairan
wa alaikum assalaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh, you're in the right place - I would suggest you join our upcoming course here www.OvernightQari.com ... we'll be covering hijaz and bayati
"Assalamu Alaikum, I took your Hijaz course and I'm having trouble with the (3 4) exercise. When I try to play 3 and 4, I can reach 4 but not 3. When I attempt to play 3, it seems like I'm accidentally hitting 5 instead."
Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, jazakAllah khair for sharing this. It was excellent. During Ramadan I heard this recitation ua-cam.com/users/live6V2cA7IOP48?feature=share at the 1:11:43 mark of Surah Al Ankabut 6-7 and I wanted to know if I joined the Qari Overnight program if I would be able to recite like this sister? Her recitation was so soothing and beautiful and I felt like she changed the sounds for the right words mashaAllah. Basically I want to copy her recitation. I thought maybe Sheikh Ghamdi or Alafasy recited like that but when I looked up their recitations for those ayahs it didn't sound the same...but maybe it is in a particular recording or they just don't recite like that.
wa alaikum assalaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, wa iyyakum! thanks for your kind words. The 2nd maqam we'll be covering (bayati) is similar to how this reading was in the video. I'm not gonna teach you to copy a specific recitation, rather I'll be teaching you a particular tune, e.g. hijaz and bayati. So we're starting with a theoretical tune pattern and then learning to implement that in reading. Hope that helps, but pls feel free to reach out if you need further clarity!
