**How do I not remember her? She's great! Super-hot, and smart, with the capability to tell garbage music from good music! Unfortunately, Ian and every other hard rock/metal group are in for a BIG culture shock about 2 years after this aired. Suddenly, grunge sweeps everyone away, with only a few exceptions(Metallica and Megadeth to a lesser degree).**
Damn I was only a few months old when he did this interview. IDGAF I love that man even If he is like 25+ yrs older I'll push him in his fuckin wheelchair and then he won't need a caregiver my love is free hahaha
Thank you there for that too. I know that NN ended then-don't know why really, but I must have read it in the TV Times at the time. At least here on ITV London then LWT, the week after, 7 April 1989, it was replaced by The James Whale Radio Show at the same time too. That was odd too in a way as I know it had already been showing in a number of other of the then ITV areas at the time-such as Central; although the series was made by Yorkshire at the time then too.
Ian demonstrating high levels of patience and good natured humour.
That’s the nature of the Taurus, grounded and patient
Wow Ian, hair goals! :)
Not seen this interview before, so thanks for posting. IAN looks amazingly handsome here! GOTTA LOVE THE CULT!
'If you've got a guitar PLAY IT!' I love Ian.

They look like they're having a good time. LA in the 80s was a magical place.
What is this Rick Astley look-alike doing talking to Ian Astbury?

i can see why they pulled this show a few weeks later after what ian astbury said about this show
Love Ian's hair !!! 🖤
surely the 2-tone/ska movement in the early 80s was an example of the rap/rock fusion which Ian doesn't think happened in the UK?
Lucky Paul Thompson!
This must have been not long before NN ended on the 31 March 1989 then once and for all too of course?

These are fukin brill
Very tense and awkward.
Why does Ian have the Nazi skull and crossbones on his hat?
The Totenkopf was just his look at the time. Which became iconic. He also collected war memorabilia, and it was a tribute to Jim Morrison.
😁😁😁
Are they still around ..????? Didn’t think so
Yes they are! Just saw them August 1st the R3 tour with STP and Bush the Cult rocked!
Absolutely. Still playing. Ian still looking great.
