SADDLE MOUNTAIN OREGON | Sony a6300 + Zhiyun Crane + Sigma 30mm 1.4

- A few friends and I decided to head up Saddle Mountain recently.
We didn't realize how gnarly a 2.5 mile hike with an elevation change of almost 1600ft could be.
Recommend good shoes and clothes for this one.

Amazing video as per, really enjoyed it :)
Ashley Renshaw thanks man tried something a little different this time.
Nice place to shot some good cinema stuff !! Keep working and great job dude !
François Banha thank you my friend!
I've been up saddle MT. an anyone telling you it's just a hike in, is not doing you any favors! It's a hard climb, but yes the view made it worth the efforts! Must be prepared for winds an wet weather! I really like Pauline Lake Bute MT. view point between Pauline & East Lake! (East Lake lodge has a picture on wall of mountain eruption & both lakes from U-2 spy plane)! Think you can see long way from saddle MT., an you can, but you can see 5 U.S. states from Pauline Lake peak view point! I was up there during wild fire season on Oregon, it looked like the world was on fire!
Dude, awesome video. Love the story! I'm looking into the sigma 30mm. Footage looks great!
Pictures look awesome too! Is that the a6300 with the 30mm?
Burke Cullinane dude I love the lens!
Burke Cullinane yes all video and photos are with the lens and a6300. If you have any questions about it let me know! I plan to do a review soon
I've done a lot of research on it, I just still love looking at images of it. I was going to buy it this past weekend, but I had a little speed bump I need to take care of. So I'll be purchasing it within the next couple weeks. However, I do look forward to your review on the lens. Haven't really watched many review on it, just tests. So I look forward to that!
Burke Cullinane man I’ve been eyeing this lens a long while too. This was actually my first outing with it. Absolute magic man
I have all the same equipment crane v2 , do you have trouble balancing the a6300? It won’t stay in place when I twist it like videos say it should
Joe Gowac not at all was thinking about making a balance video. What lens?
isaacturnerit I have sigma 30mm 1.4
isaacturnerit I can have it sit balanced, I can point lens up and it stays ok, I can point lens Down and it stays ok But when I tilt it left or right it immediately swings back to center no matter my adjustments
Joe Gowac can you make me a quick video? Send it to isaacturnerit@icloud.com or instamgram DM me at @isaacturnetit
isaacturnerit yes thank you. Also this sounds really stupid but I had to put a little lightweight hot shoe adapter on top to get it even close to balancing it weighs almost nothing but for some reason it gets me even closer
