I bought M5 for some modulation, but when I Heard „tube amp” FX i was stunned, it is perfect for a (pop) punk. Now Im running M13 for modulation and single FX for wah and distortion, coz M13 is not quite there if you about to play grunge. Great pedal mothership
@@Elveshelvesjust get the pod hd500x. All the same effects, plus amp modeling, expression pedal, etc. it has the exact same effect processing. And usually cheaper. Few have seemed to realize this.
@@Elveshelves yeah the hd500x models are pretty even with helix. People will argue this, but they always lose in a blind test. You can turn off the models though and just use effects. All I’m saying is the m13 is very popular, but people don’t realize the hd500x has the exact same effects processing, plus more features. A lot of times it’s even cheaper. If you’re using an expression with the m13, the 500x is the obvious better choice
Guys these things are highly sought after, but here’s a secret: the pod hd500x has EXACTLY the same effects, in addition to amp modeling etc. just buy the 500x. They are usually cheaper.
@@cpfs936 I’m really interested in the amp modeling that is available in some of the newer pedals. I ended up getting the line 6 DT 25 tube amp. Has 4 preset “amps” from the factory, but I think there are around 30 more with the newer pedals…. Soooooooo tempted to up grade. Just sucks cuz the m13 is awesome. Perfect mix of digital and analog for my taste.
I've always loved these things - I still remember the Guitar World video on it - so cool. I with they had updated the HX in this format.
It’s a fun set of effects. Seems like the perfect mix of new and old school tech.
Dude I love the M13. One of my favorite guitar products I ever purchased. I'm still using mine all the time in 2024!
I’m loving mine so far. It seems like the perfect all in one effects pedal.
Hey bro do you use M13 in conjunction with any other individual pedals? If so what's your signal path,? Pedals before or after m,13?
@@carlosalves4444 sorry, I’m only using the m13 right now.

@@doggestorm380 I haven’t pick up a expression petal for my m13 yet. I can’t decide on what to get.

@@Roger-il8iw I like the amp modeling aspect of the newer line 6 pedals. The m13 just has the perfect old school analog feel.

Interesting to see how Line 6's interface has evolved, yet stayed familiar. You could jump from this to a Helix or vice versa, without much trouble.

That is so true! I am a long time user of the m13 but when I bought the Pod Go, it feels like I'm still in m13 ecosystem but just glorified.
Does anyone use M13 with say amp Sim pedal or any other pedals? If so what's the signal chain,? where does the M13 go? Thanks
I'm line m13 with a Mooer Preamp X2 and CAB X2, signal chain, Guitar -> M13 -> EFX Loop -Send > Preamp -> EFX Loop -Return -> CAB X2 IR ..
Care to share any of you settings. Thanks Rick
@@RickMcDanielMusic so far I’m just messing around and learning. Distortions and reverbs are fun. There are so many effects to choose from.
