Problem with this test, it is continuous printing, it does not take account of the printer doing head cleaning, which happens every time the printer starts or the printed pages don't come out correct etc...!. Using the printer occasionally, like most people do, lot of print head cleaning and ink wasting is done. I all ways wondered about the claim, 300 or 500 pages printing capacity, when I barely get a few dozen pages printed and the ink runs out. Cheers!
Inkjets are usually built for people who print regularly and like good-quality prints. If you print occasionally, I suggest a LaserJet. Although the color print quality is subpar, it won't have an ink drying problem.

Yes. However you need to use a tape to seal the white pin hold (opening for the pressure regulator) on the top of the cover.
