We've moved to rural North Wales recently. Been looking at this or a landcruiser as a go to, suitable, reliable car. Thanks for the videos you've done, it's helped me loads looking for a bargain

Thanks Rich. I had a swb v6 3.0 in 92-96. Awful fuel consumption about 18mpg , very high service cost at dealer. The service intervals were 6000 miles (diesel was 4500). Was a bit of a tonka right enough and at that time very stylish. Had one of though tonkas as well in mid 70s. Fantastic digger truck. The amount of abuse it could stand. Cheers. Neil

Im moving to a rural location shortly and was thinking about getting either one of these or maybe a Volvo XC70 as a winter pig.

I’ll be doing a video in the coming couple of weeks reviewing my time with the Shogun Sport as it’s time to sell and move on to the next daily SUV.

The one that came out about late 2017 is more refined price start off I think £16000 there about expensive but will be good second bargain one but yours is a very good agriculture versatile vehicle great all round jobs 👍👍👍

Thanks. I’ve had mine for a year now and not had to do anything to mine. Last year I took mine up to the Isle of Mull (1,000 mile round trip) and had one problem with a sheared bolt on the alternator tensioner (there’s a video on the channel about that). Otherwise it’s been 100% reliable. A bit noisy, a bit slow, but I love it . Oh yes, I’m getting about 25-26 mpg (best was 27 mpg) buddy 👍🏻

thinking about buying the 2010 Shogun 3.2 but the road tax seems ridiculous..... 😕

That’s why I went with a good condition ‘05 - anything after Mar ‘06 the VED (road tax) almost doubles!

It needed the chain driven bomb proof 4M40 engine!… what more can I say?… I would have bought one if the 4M40 was an option!

Just so ya know…my 4x4’s to date… Suzuki sj 413 samurai (Monster of all round go anywhere narrow), Suzuki Vitara JLX FatBoy x2 (Monster of Donut Fun), Mitzi Pajero 2.8 SWB 4M40 engine on a 94 plate (Monster of reliability!) and Range Rover P38 Vogue SE (Monster of Unreliability Money Pit)…think that just about sums it up.

Wicked cars, I've got the same in 3l petrol, 2 inch lift and larger tyres.
250 thousand is and it's still nearly new. Where I live rust isn't an issue really.
Yep the suspension is quite stiff
Have you tried making your own diesal?

No I haven’t! First time I’ve heard of making your own diesel!!!!
