    Brilliant video again. The shogun sport 3.0 i had my eye on has been sold unfortunately so i am keeping my eyes open for a decent one to come along. I think either the 2.5 or 3.0 will do, the main thing will be the condition of the vehicle which is my main focus.
    The shogun performed well in that field considering how wet and slippery the conditions were in the field with the snow, taking into account that you were running road tyres too.. brilliant job. Simple video with good information. 👍👍

    Another great video there mate, thank you. I still have mine and I love it more and more each day. They are so under rated and under valued.

    Great video but just a point about the 4wd system on these. You don’t have diff locks. 2wd is 2wd, 4h is 4wd high range (front and rear axles locked together similar to centre diff lock on land rovers etc), 4low is same as 4h but lower range gears.
    Some shogun sports have a rear lsd which if you have it works automatically regardless of 2wd/4wd etc

      Yes @Ben Riley you are correct. I’ve had a few comments. It was my mistake in the video thinking that 4L was a lock of the diff. My apologies 👍🏻

      @@FastandFun nothing to apologise for just pointing it out didn’t know if you were aware or not. The shoguns (not sport) have super select which does have a centre diff lock and a centre diff so can be driven on the road in 4wd.
      How are you liking the sport? Mate has one impressive motors 👍

    great video, im considering to buy one for overlanding.. whats their combined fuel mpg ?

    • @FastandFun
      @FastandFun  Рік тому +2

      Only around 24-25mpg. Best I ever got was 28mpg on a long steady run at 60mph. Not great I’m afraid ….

      @@FastandFun so i should excpet 24ish for overland wright ? and if i add that to big tires i should go down to 20mpg

      Hi, I only take my SS off-road into the fields occasionally (did so today actually and pulled really well on road tyres in the mud using 4WD) however, I’m no expert at extreme sand off-road so suggest you contact a online forum/club that would be better to help/advise.

    I have the same car but the green 4x4 light flashes in 2wd. Any ideas?

    • @FastandFun
      @FastandFun  3 роки тому

      Other than it shouldn’t do that, then no I don’t know. What I would try is asking a shogun sport forum (especially the FB Shogun Sport group). They are very knowledgeable and will be only too happy to give you some advice. Hope that helps (a bit anyway)

      I have the same problem. From what I've learned, its harmless as long as 4WD engages when you need, if you want to get rid of the flashing you will have to replace the vacuum solenoid.
