Medibot is a pretty good disguise for projector. You can move around, and no one will suspect anything, because it's completely fine for medibot to move around. Though you may expose yourself if there's someone wounded nearby, because you obviously can't heal them. Cleanbot is not bad too, but usually there are trash everywhere, and you still can't do what cleanbot can.
I honestly think the chameleon projector is underutilised. Used it to hide in bridge once whilst I was a syndie. It was extra helpful that cargo had somehow gotten some and were playing 'object hunt' in cargo (might have been an admeme) so when I was caught I bullshitted by saying I was just playing that and got a little enthusiastic lol.
WhiIe I'm far from an expert, I Really think the Nukie should've used his chameleon projector to hide as a normal object in the bridge, as he really could've played the long game and tricked the crew into thinking he had somehow escaped, but he took the brave choice.
They were injured to some degree from the initial contacts, and the chameleon projector won't let you disguise as very small objects if you're injured even a little bit because your current damage transfers over to the object. Maybe they could have disguised as a locker or toolbox, but they definitely wouldn't be able to disguise as a bullet casing.
They had a fireaxe, too. The play would have been to chop down some windows, venting the bridge, and then you could consider disguising as a toolbox or something, or just straight out dipping out of there. Are Jug suits space proof?
loneop did good, thinking back a raid suit would have been better, but hindsight's 20/20. also good work to the captain for trapping the op and getting reinforcements a good option in the bridge would have been to use the chameleon projector to disguise as a shell casing
Oh hey! I was the salvage Borg. I made sure to keep the rock anomaly and under control so RD could help keep crew together. That nukie ended up getting borged, into my original Borg body no less. Unfortunately, that body got an ion storm law change round start that let him still be "microscopically" evil. I think it let him be racist against skeletons because RD interpreted it as "bad to the bone".
Oh I remember this, I was Polishes-the-Toothy that round. I didn't even bother to shoot the nukie, I just wanted to get red alert and I got gunned down upon doing so. I would've gone for the shot if I wasn't already doing the red alert.
Previously I got 1 nukie round as pAI, after planning in duration of 11 minutes we made stealth ops, but these stealth ops was... TOY OPS! You might think what is toy ops, every nukie gets a chameleon projector and then scans the nukie toy, commander choose commander toy, and we have a clown op who takes all these toys in a locker and then we attack captain when we see him, sadly I wasnt seeing everything because when you use chameleon projector with pAI, it just gets into another universe where is only space and SSD nukies, they dont move they just stay in space with SSD sign, so you cant see anything. Is this some sort of a glitch I guess?
My guess is the loneop forgot to rack the L6 or something. I was confused as well that I could thwack him so many times but I just figured I had walked right into him and was dead either way. Figured the bridge was clear since they had just put up the red alert and I didn't hear the shots on the HoS. Big oopsie
Reason pen bomb did that- tear gas laying around.... other flashbang... chain reaction.... and trying to keep some hear away from the station.. but main target was the det
Too bad he got distracted by the detective. That was a good play

I always try to pet the medibots though to thank them. So I'd reveal them by accident lol
@@Liltenhead well, one day when you'll try to pet a medibot, it'll turn out to be a fully armed nukie
Just keep saying 'Hold still please' and they'll think you're just being buggy lol.
I've seen inventive people disguise as Smiley, random movements like she's not ghost roled and all.
My dumbass updated my OBS, which apparently messed up my noise gate settings. So my audio settings suck in this video, my apologies.
Nah your voice is shit enough tbh

That would have been funny, but I respect fighting the entire station.
a shell casing would have been perfect
@Liltenhead I've seen a lone op nukie with chameleon projector do that, and he killed cap with only a combat knife....

5:08 the nukie stole the hop's id instead of copying its accesses, that's how hop knew

The crew avenged you!
he should have spaced the room

the hop may have encountered a door that didnt open, such as medbay's, to realize their id is missing and probably on their killer
I don't know, probably. Not too important in this scenario just something I was thinking at the time.
That HOP got robbed by someone off screen I think, we had two thieves that round.
