Today the Jeep is getting some much needed light upgrades. If you know anything about Jeeps, the factory headlights arent that great, so out with the old and in with the new LED ones We also are upgrading the spotlights to some 8.5" LED's - these compliment the headlights nicely. And to top it off we are upgrading the tail lights with a pair of full LED ones.

Nice Job 👌
Really cool and great result 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Great looking upgrades.
Thanks buddy
What did you do with the original blue and white wire that was connecting to the Parker/DRL? Assuming you took the bulb out, but did you splice the wires etc.?
I just removed the bulb so that is no longer used. These lights don’t have a park light function that I’m aware of. The DRL is just connected to an ignition feed.
Hi, great vid!
Steadily website states the following
IMPORTANT: CANBUS CANCELLATION WORKS BY CONVERTING VOLTAGE INTO HEAT. FOR THIS REASON, IT IS IMPORTANT TO SECURE THE CANBUS DECODER TO A METAL PART OF THE ENGINE BAY, AS THE OPERATING TEMPERATURE IS HIGH DURING NORMAL OPERATION.
So was just concerning if you have experienced any issues by just shoving the canbus box into the headlight socket?
Thanks for the comment Daniel! Yeh that’s a great pickup. After installing the lights I also picked this up on their website and went and had a look at where I could mount the canbus module. Their isn’t a lot of options, however I did end up mounting the passenger side module on the front headlight/bonnet rail. The driver side their was no room. Personally I’m not too worried as there is a bit of airflow that gets behind the headlight from the grill. Thanks for watching!
Does it come with the Canbus in the box? Also do they give instructions on how to wire the DRLs? Cheers!
Nah the canbus module is purchased separately. No info that’s specific for the Jeep to get the DRLs working. All you need is a 12v source that’s on with ignition. The ground is used from the main headlight harness. Cheers
What did you do with the original parker globe and harness?
I removed the parker bulb and taped up the harness. I should have covered it off but missed it. Apologies thats my bad! Cheers Adam
@@GetCampingOz I did the same thing, was just curious what you did. I also felt the same way about the high beams that they were kinda useless but I’m assuming that it may be because the low beams are already super bright. Even after aiming my headlights I still get oncoming traffic flashing me. They learn pretty quick that I don’t have my high beams on when I flash them back with my ARB solis on full blast.
