    Hi Eileen, it looks like you are back to the office! Yeah! I would like to add that fermented foods, if tolerated in small amounts, at each meal are great as well. You mentioned stress can reduce the immune system, I have found that to counter stress, zoom mtgs, online business etc I take a few minutes and go out in the sun and just sit, if possible without my shoes on. For just 10 min or so. Living in Colorado, even in 20 degrees, if the sun its out it is so nourishing to go sit in the sun for a few minutes after being on Zoom. Thanks for the video. I didn't know menopause can affect our immune system.

      Hi Dee
      Yes, I'm back in to film every week but still spending most days at home; here in Scotland we are still in major lockdown!
      Sitting out in the sun is wonderful! I was able to do this for the first time this year at the weekend as spring is just around the corner. (although here it was 10 degrees and I still needed a coat on!). I am lucky to have a small garden so I can sit and listen to the birdsong and my fountain tinkling away.

    Thank u Eileen 💖 hope u are well. I have so many Vogel products I love. Plantago drops with plantain for nasal allergies! I even now got cough sweets from Vogel! Love love love the brand. My boyfriend is on devil's claw many months but they only worked when he upped dose to2pills twice a day!! He has very bad arthritis in 1 shoulder. I think your products are quite reasonably priced considering the price of most health supplements now in Ireland as this big tax came in last year on healthshop products 😥

    You mentioned bad breath and gum pain Ellene, I face flares of jaw pain for 3-5 days and worst I faced early this month when it was heavy snowfall, and I poked my face out if the window to watch it! There are loads of symptoms I am facing still in perimenopause like hard stools (which has led to haemorrhoids) just had colonoscopy horrendous testing done, vaginal dryness extremly.. Acne,never had them during teenager age) , tingling numbness in my hands while I wake up.. I see your videos and try to relate, but are all of these symptoms of menopause or menopause transition?

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  3 роки тому

      Hi Hind
      These could be either peri-menopause or menopause proper symptoms, so unfortunately, they could happen at any stage, sorry.

    Hello Eileen, good to see you in great health. I have a question and anyone can feel free to jump in and answer as well: can changing my diet to what I call "The Healthy Nutritious World" vs "The White Bread Non-Nutritious World" jump start menopause?

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Katrina
      I've not heard of improving the diet triggering the menopause, it's usually the other way around. If you improve the diet in the menopause it can bring periods back so could stall or reverse it for a while.

    Along with the 100 other symptoms I have, I experience lower rib tightness , as if I'm wearing a tight clothing or something around there. Anyone?

    • @hindhimalya6245
      @hindhimalya6245 3 роки тому +2

      Me too facing it dear, I think it's because of the ongoing sagging breast tissue, the breast bone hurts so are the ribs.

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  3 роки тому +2

      Falling oestrogen could affect the muscles between the ribs causing some stiffness, which, in turn, can cause discomfort when deep breathing or doing exercise or bending in any direction.
      A magnesium supplement may be of benefit, daily gentle stretching (see UA-cam for suitable ones) and plenty of plain water!

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Alona
      This can often happen; some women find that they miss periods for a while then they come back for a few months then stop again. Unfortunately, it is difficult to tell whether this is the end of your periods or not as it is different for every woman, sorry.
      Yes, the lungs can be affected in the menopause; I have posted a video blog on this do please do take a look. www.avogel.co.uk/health/menopause/videos/lung-problems-during-the-menopause/

    I find that I cannot drink tea I can't sleep at night so I drink coffee ☕...I don't know if there is anything as drinking to much water and can that dilute the acid in your stomach and cause a problem also??
    I have used a chinese medicated oil called kwan loong for headaches but when it's really bad then I take something.
    I also wake up some mornings and I don't feel fat but by after lunch it seems like I bloat and everything feels tight

      @AvogelCoUk  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Marina
      Drinking too much water could flush important nutrients away so for most women 1.5-2 litres of water a day is sufficient. If you do drink a lot whilst eating then, yes, this can dilute your stomach acid so it's best only to drink a very small amount with food.

    Can you have bladder pain, frequency, urgency and pelvic pain and pressure?

      @AvogelCoUk  3 роки тому

      Hi Marry
      Yes, this can happen but such a combination could indicate a prolapse so it is important to get this investigated by your doctor.

    How common is globus sensation? Is it common that women go through menopause without taking anything as far as HRT or anything?

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  3 роки тому

      Hi
      It does seem to be quite common in the menopause although it's often not seen as connected when the person concerned gets it diagnosed.
      It can be caused by mucus dryness in the mouth and throat and also stress/anxiety.
