- On 11/15/2022 around 10:25 AM, the Oklahoma City Police Department were notified that a man with an out-of-state felony warrant was in a travel trailer at 14000 Iron Rd. Responding officers learned the suspect, Timothy Johnson, had been seen entering the trailer, and were told that he had not come out.
Officers obtained consent to search the trailer and then made entry. While searching the trailer, officers lifted a mattress that covered a storage area. When the mattress was lifted, officers saw Mr. Johnson hiding in the storage area, armed with a pistol. Mr. Johnson immediately opened fire on the officers. All three officers returned fire and retreated to an area of safety outside of the trailer.
The OKCPD Tactical Unit was activated and responded to the scene. Attempts to contact Mr. Johnson were unsuccessful and the Tactical Unit ultimately made entry in to the trailer where they found him deceased.
One of the three officers suffered a non-life threatening injury when he was struck in the face by flying debris during the fire fight. The officer was treated and released at an area hospital.
All three officers have been placed on routine administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
Obviously hindsight is 20/20 but the female officer took cover in the absolute worst place. She's lucky she wasn't hit with friendly fire.
-she didn't clear the trailer
-ditched her partner(so did the other male officer)
-ran into the line of fire
-pushed an officer out of concealment into the line of fire where he then suffered wood splinters
-then orders the 1 competent officer to leave the trailer
Glad the officers are ok but even more happy that you did arrest the girlfriend. What she did, allowing the officers to get ambushed is just as despicable as squeezing the trigger herself.
I concur.
Yeah she lied to them, people like this are so dumb. Just done lie bro.
Agree!
The Cop with AR didn’t give a fuck.
I was actually concerned for the female officer when she ran outside. She was in direct line of fire of that rifle. Those 5.56 rounds can poke holes easily in a trailer like that lol.
@@leroyjethrogibbs psh... that's her problem maybe don't ditch your partner next time
I like how she takes cover in the dumbest place possible, that's literally at the underside of the bed that's currently being shot at.
😂 females aren’t that bright . especially blonds .
and the idiot officer who stood in the middle like a target isn’t so bright either
Omg I saw that too 🤔🤐🤐💀
Watch donut operators recap on it
@@southsideHAM47 The same officer pushed him into the middle, genus. not like he just walked out into the middle for no reason.
Totally justified. They even gave him a chance AGAIN to put his hands up. He fired again.
Talkin' out the trash! Love it! This dude got EVERYTHING he deserved. Officers may want to stay OUT of the death zone, HOWEVER.
Glad the officers are okay. Hopefully the time off will let them recover, as almost dying can seriously be mentally painful.
Rest your neck 🧣
So glad the officers are ok. 💙
He won't do it again.
I love a story with a happy ending.
Can really see the difference in personalities as 2 officers turn and flee (not necessarily unreasonable when being shot at) and the 3rd stands, waits for them to run by him, and returns fire.
Lmao the female officer pops one off at the end just for good measure.
No sense having leftovers.
Like the classic line: judge: why did you shoot him 11 times? Victim: because my magazine didn't hold 12.
First cop was out faster than me in a mcdonalds....
Great job Officers 💜💜💜
Nothey did bad
@@tamakaramaena Cody did good
The cop positioned himself in the worst possible way and in direct line of fire. If you see later in the footage when they are all behind the office with the rifle, he has well enough space to be able to return fire while signaling the other office when he was going to shoot while behind him. He was so lucky that he didn’t lose his life.
Were you there charlie
@@scott1738 … you can see it in the video… that’s why I pointed details of the van… use your brain
How do you even tactically retrieve someone from a spot like that? I'd just toss a road flare along with that propane tank into the bedroom and see if he came out.
Whatever happens society will be better for it!
Smoke grenade.
Only one officer should be giving commands.
speechless that the initial female cop just directly opened the bed top like he is likely not there! cops are lucky it was not a worse outcome. The woman that let them in could have prevented this
She hid right behind the the bunker for the bed…
She is going shat herself when she sees the reply
😲 she runs into the line of fire 🤐 thank God she is ok
Reminds me of PUBG when a squad rolls up on you and they all start blasting you at the same time 😂
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I wouldn’t be too critical about this one.
The crossfire is insane, I know its a life or death situation but the cops were a little close to each other in my opinion. I'm no cop, and I'm not trained in things related to this, but from what I can tell the cops coulda very well shot one another in that situation
Sometimes there are NO good situations
Glad the female officer was not hit when she hides under the suspect while the other officer shoots at him
He’s gonna need a thicker blanket
That first cop with the non lethal shotgun is the one that shot him when he lifted up the mattress I think... Looks like he puts one in his armpit and then you can hear him screaming before the guy with the assault rifle begins to unload on him... I'm pretty sure that was also the one that got hit...
It was officer with the long rifle, his shots followed the subject screaming in pain. This subject more then likely didn't want to go back to jail went down fighting.
They took cover in the worst possible spot in front of the RV where the propane tanks are could have just shot right through the wall
Officer with the rifle gets a donut 🍩👍 Ponytail police gets an F for FAILURE.
Agree
it's ok she'll get promoted or retire on stress pension
One warrior cop and two that ran and left a brother behind. Female officer was just throwing rounds on the second volley. No idea what she was shooting at. Probably needs a different job
Terrible 😮
I woulda used every mag I had
Officer McCoy NEEDS more training, and should most definitely not be the lead officer in this situation. Police officers need to be prepared for any situation, ESPECIALLY shootings, which Officer McCoy was not. I counted 6 errors in a 5 minute span, which should not be happening, and could've lead to a death easily.
1: Stands in front of an unchecked door for half a minute.
2: Does not grab for a gun when the suspect holds up the gun.
3: Runs away from situation completely (not sure exactly why as she wasn't hit), including forcing 2nd officer out of the camper, leaving the one officer all alone in the camper.
4: Takes "cover" in the exact direction that the one officer in the camper is firing at.
5: She decides she wants to go back in, forcing the second officer that was right in front of her, into the middle of the hallway. Uncovered for bullets/debris to hit him (which happened).
6: Tells the lead officer to leave first, which is one of the stupider things to do as the first officer had to pass the aim of her firearm to leave the camper, making a second or two of no cover of the area in which the dangerous suspect is located.
Honestly, this was the most brutal bodycam footage i have ever watched as the mistakes kept on happening, as well as they were very crucial mistakes.
the female offercer tord the end of shooting amex off at the glass not Sammy
Don't seem to be trained very well
Can we get an update on the absolute dip of an officer trying to run point in the most dangerous manner possible???? She needs to be re-training or a desk job, it’s a miracle she only caused wood shrapnel to hurt another officer in this🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Edit: I just read in the description that THIS is your tactical unit?????🤯😭 tell me you’re joking…..
I hope he still a live?
The suspect is deceased.
@@OKCPD I'm not surprised
What ! He was willing to kill a police officer when he knew he was done. A you hope he is still alive.
She bolted out and forcing other officer out, and leaving their partner alone inside.
Considering where the officer stopped, she was standing in the doorway, I’d force him out too.
Allahu Ahkbar
Worse tactics! Absolutely failure in these officers, glad they survived
That female officer needs to go now
Damn lady cop you ran to a horrible spot to hide, your partners going to shoot you with his AR
The officer that was hit is a definite dumbass. He came in and stood in the middle of the doorway(the only place the suspect could shoot from) and was hit dead center….i get it and agree that all 3 of them needed to be inside for full coverage but why are you dead center with the corridor without cover??
Were you there charlie
He was hit by debris.
no because i don’t have the ethics to be an officer of the law i can admit that, because after that first exchange when they located him ME PERSONALLY, i would’ve had Sgt. Roger wet the entire trailer up from the outside while we awaited backup. My crew going home today 😂
Female officer pushed her way in, forcing him to go into the opening.
Great that the officers are okay, but this is what you get, with liberal weapon rights..even more criminals with more guns, because almost everybody is able to purchase them..
Female officers action in this video:
Not clearing the bathroom
holstering a gun while clearing the bed
Grabbing a rifle from the barrel while fleeing
Running in the middle of line of fire.
Pushing fellow officer directly in line of fire.
Telling to officer who has rifle to get out while he was at the point and no one covered suspect for a moment.
wow. just wow. She needs to quit
Wow that female officer acted like a totally clueless idiot. First she neglects to clear the bathroom behind her then practically knocks everyone out of the way after they open the bed up instead of providing cover fire THEN she runs in front of the trailer right in the line of fire of the officer who stayed behind and engaged the guy THEN she comes back into the trailer PUSHES the other officer out of his cover spot and then tries to play hero after the other officer had already neutralized the threat. WOW!! She needs to be fired. What a bumbling liability....She sure knows how to talk big cop talk though doesn't she?. lol
Yeah… she is a complete failure of an officer!!
female officer made some big mistakes
This shooting is running under the Case : "Killed in Action"
how in the world can that guy come out with hands up. he was hurt already with first round of gun fire and was screaming, can anyone hear that?
I feel no sympathy. He shot at officers, then after yelling in pain, shot them even more.
Gunshot wounds aren't magical things that always render someone incapable of moving. Furthermore, the suspect shot a second time. Says it all.
I agree - terrible situation…but when you fire a gun at an officer, all bets are off (period). Only a crazed, homicidal maniac would ever consider doing such a thing.
Honestly I’ve never been shot at, but I can’t imagine trusting a killer to suddenly just give up - right after trying to commit murder. Just a thought.
I was thinking the same thing! How can he come out, while writhing in pain! But then I saw in the comments where he fired again!
