The female officer has terrible situational awareness. The spot she goes to hide under (the hitch portion of the gooseneck trailer) is directly below the suspect that the rifle carrying officer is shooting at. She was so close to getting hit by a through and through.

Your choice would have been to keep the top opened while the bad guy filled you with choles? And no, the bad guy could not "unload" on the the two retreating officers. After the initial display, the officers were correct to isolate the bad guy by closing the top and moving. You are certainly not familiar with the reality of close quarters gunfights. He stayed because he was not close to the initial threat and had cover/concealment. Of course, you would have "stayed in the fight" like a good COD warrior. Wise up mister.
Yeah the best move was to move out because suspect had immediate advantage. The rifle officer was in a safer position to stay. You do not understand the basic danger of the front two officers’ position.
Anyone commenting about the two officers having made the correct choice are fucking idiots. A doorway of any kind is the number one worst place to be in a close quarters gun fight. Just think. That door way is a permanent, entry/exit. Only one person can fit at a time, and often it’s apart of a hallway. It’s literally the ‘fatal funnel’. Immediately engaging the perp while repositioning towards the back corners of the room would have been a movement. As it would leave the mattress between the two officers in the room, while leaving the hallway clear for the officer with the rifle to engage while behind cover. They’re lucky that gunman didn’t really want them dead.

This interaction can definitely be used as a learning experience. Hindsight is always 20/20. I'm truly thankful that no officer's life was ended! Prayers for the injured officer!
