Suspect in Wheelchair Gets Up and Runs From Courthouse

- A sheriff’s deputy escorting a wheelchair-bound suspect into court wasn’t expecting the suspect to get up and run away. The Pulaski County Sheriff in Arkansas says Joel Sanchez Delgado was being brought to court to face multiple charges including residential burglary and theft of services. He reportedly claimed during his arrest that he was injured, but steps away from the entrance to the courthouse, he made a dash for freedom. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.

Wow. I'm impressed. It is incredibly rare to see a man who takes responsibility for his crime and simply serves his sentence.
Why would you expect decency from someone doing indecent things? That’s like expecting a drug addict not to take drugs if offered. That’s like expecting a cheater not to cheat on you. Why on earth would a criminal willingly plead guilty when their initial motive was to do the crime and to hopefully GET AWAY with it. That’s like expecting a serial killer to willingly turn themselves after killing someone? How many serial killers do that? None. If you have the mind set to steal, rob, kill, most of the time you would have the mindset to lie and plead guilty to. Your case is probably one out of a million.
I don't either. In 2020 i had two people doing something to me that could have led someone less strong to suicide by telling me how much their ego was happy to do so. Fiy what they did what playing with my emotions for more than two years before telling me (3 times) that my sick brain invented all of it... I made myself the promise that i would not beat them up before they choose to press charges or apolozige. They did not apologize of course. While i was in the police station for an audition to answer for the threats i've made to them i had a minor behind me that was interrogated because he had stolen the wallet of a 67 years old lady with violence and two of his friends. He made an attempt to draw cash and was recorded doing so by the machine. His way of explaining himself for such a cowardly thing to do ? It is not me ! By the end of my audition where i told the police that i would still beat them up no matter the price the police woman thanked me for the most honest audition she had in a while... Since that day i have an admiration for the people who work in the force i couldn't bare such disgrace from people everyday... Sorry my english is bad.
It's because people want to see what they can get away with and waste everybody's time in the process 🤷
It's wise to try and plea bargain and get a charge or charges reduced. I hear You though .
That is absolutely brilliant 🙂!
My God, I think I would just stand there for a few seconds contemplating my life if I've ever seen a guy in a wheel chair run from me 😭
