Aespa's ai concept is good in theory it's just that sm doesn't currently have the infrastructure to make the most out of it. In time I think it will get there as we saw the best use of them in the smcu.

It is bcoz nobody cares to know more about the AI. Imagine they make seperate story for AI, like making 10eps of anime starred that AI, maybe like K-ON. After the AI itself gain their own fans, it might be more fun to see them on stage with aespa.

@@Angel-uo5yi yeah missed opportunities with the videos imagine if they used the a.i.s by giving them a bside video that way the girls don't have to learn more than choreography and they could go all out for example lucid dreaming they could've been really experimental with animation and effects there but still I don't see that happening until maybe when they start making full albums.

I actually like the AI concept of AESPA but I do have a problem . I don't like when those Avatars dance with or have more screen time than any members . I like it when the members and avatars just interact with each other for short time like they showed in Black Mamba & Next Level . I don't want these avatars to come with members and dance .
i guess its really just about preference haha for someone like me who likes anime or rpgs, i enjoy seeing the AIs with them whether dancing or not :>

Whitewashing the idols is also a big problem in the industry . I liked nowadays BTS members are doing the type of make up that really compliments their natural skin color . I am also happy that fans are loving the natural skin color of idols like Taehyung, Namjoon,Jennie,Kai ,Hwasa,Jessie,etc

Another totally dumb thing in kpop: Destroying someones career just because they have a personal life. I still can't get over how so many people and even so called "fans" or better toxic fans hated Chen for having a wife who was pregnant. It was so disgusting to see how they treated him for such a long time, burned his merch and demanded that he should leave EXO because he betrayed them, just used them, etc.
Or Bobby who felt like he had to apologize numerous times for the exact same thing so he won't get cancelled (Not to mention some people hating him for apologizing, like he regretted having a family. What's totally wrong, because it was for such very long time so obvious how dearly he wished to have a family and his own children)
Generally all these dating scandals are just so unnecessary and I miss the time where idols could root for or talk freely with each other without immediatly having to fear a dating scandal.

Who the F*ck is babying Suga???? Yes, he is Lil Meow Meow but as I always was aware when I got into BTS fandom, all of them are healthy Young MEN in their 20s. Internationally, none are yet 30. Try babying a man on the street who is past pre-teen and see the look of disgust on their faces.

The AI concept is pretty interesting but I do agree with the fact that the AI characters are so unnecessary and useless, even without them nothing would really change the storyline would be the same anyway.

When it comes to shipping two people in a romantic way, it always makes me wonder if people (fans) have no love life them selfs. How can you be so obsessed over people and their love life? People you don’t know. Especially the edits and fan analysis.
Edit: I know that a lot of the shippers are teens 13 or 14, but it’s important to teach them that shipping (romantically) not okay. And let’s be honest it makes the whole kpop experience a lot les fun. Not to mention that it messes up friendships and people get harassed just because they don’t agree with the shippers. So let’s stop using the “they are young kids” excuse.
i used to see the ship in my fav group as a bestfriend ship (except for idols that are truly dating such as dawn and hyuna i don't ship any idols which makes me think people also ship them as friends especially because those are same group ship) but then i saw a comment talking about which ship they think is real or not based on "conflicts" on cam *that is the moment i realized people actually ship them as a couple* 🗿

Well, many of these fans are like 13 and yeah they don't have a love life. And some people just get stuck in this kpop fantasy world for years (decades?) and continue not having an actual love life in their 20s or even 30s.

Another thing is how quickly Netizens jump to conclusion. A simple post from someone would blow the heck up as long as it criticized a popular idol. Without any evidence at all online commentators are always quick to bash that person and say how they needed to be kicked out of their group. Eg: Soojin (G-Idle), Lucas (WayV) & Jimin (AOA). Even though this might be the case where they are guilty these idols take responsibility but the internet still wont let up and let them grow. From then on they are known as Idols who disappointed their fans because of one mishap like people dont make mistakes and make bad decisions. I ABSOLUTELY DESPISE THIS!! Fans say they support their idols but one wrong move and all the support is gone. Just shows how fickle so called 'support' is.

When I was new into the fandom some of the things were completely new for me (as I became a K pop fan because of the music ) and shipping was one of them . I thought shipping was something like praising bromance of certain members but I soon I realised some fans make it too . I do like some shipping but I keep it in my fantasies and not in real life .

1. Shipping- especially within the group members must be so uncomfortable for idols. They are coworkers so it’s very awkward for them. Don’t ruin their work relationship and dynamics.
2. MR removed. I agree it doesn’t prove an idol’s ability to sing at all! Removing music from the vocal doesn’t mean that the vocal is live.
I also don't get this fricking obsession with visuals that a lot of kpop stans and the industry has in general. Like all these videos of visual ranking of idols on yt and basically the fans fighting below in the comment section on who is "the best visual of kpop" and this thing of "visual god/goddess". Things get pretty toxic tbh😣 (just my opinion)
To me, shipping is like the friends that has the best chemistry in a group. So I was shocked when some people think that they could be couple or something. And for the babying culture, well, sometimes I'm guilty of babying them because of their cute actions or expressions. But that's it. I don't necessarily say that "Oh, * idol's name * you shouldn't do this or that because you're a baby". Hey they're grown ups.

Aespa has a very "specific" concept that can't be changed, because they already made a story, new meanings and the AIs. That's why they can't do any other concept that this one. People will get bored of it but for now it's really cool and new for the kpop industry (not talking abut kda because the members are not actual humans and artists only give their voices). Personally, I really love this concept and I want them to continue it for now.

Eg: we still enjoy 90s and 2000s kpop songs. But when you try something different and trendy it will definitely make some noise for now and trend for few years but it will fade away after years. Now this AI concept and avatars looks cool to us but after few years it will be cringy like hell. That's why agencies are stick on to old style because it won't fade away.

Personally, I think Aespa's AI concept is a preparation for something that is yet to come. Like since the beginning of this year, you can't buy ACE memberships in Lysn anymore, and they already announced that many features are coming for the app. So, I feel like with this future updates one of the new features must be one that allows more interaction with the æ versions in the digital world, as well as others, like the one of the alarm with the idols' voices announced in SM's Conference. They are just preparing the group for more groundbreaking things, but I agree that they could at least give the æs more protagonism in the MVs.
I never got the AI, but one think I don’t like about them is how the AI look 😅

I find aespa's concept/story interesting and unique, it's just too cool plus all the members are so talentad and versatile.
Sorry to say, but I feel like the relationship between Idols and fans has to change (or their mindset has to change). Many fans feel like they have this ownership towards their idols. And idols has to do literally everything just to makes fans happy, or if not their career will be destroy.
But sadly, from the beginning, this relationship has already established this way. I just hope fans can’t stop controlling their faves, and I wish Idols can gain more freedom and speak their mind.

Shipping has been a thing for AGES. Like... back when Star Trek when a new thing. Shipping was a thing then. Shipping is a thing now. I've been a K-Pop fan since 2004 and shipping has been a huge thing in K-Pop since then at least, maybe even before too. Shipping is relatively harmless for the most part. People write fanfics about ships they like, that's nothing new. Nothing wrong with that. People who become idols should anticipate it at this point. They can ignore it, just as fans who don't like shipping can ignore it.
The problem starts when fans message idols or meet idols and ASK THEM about shipping. When they ask idols if they're dating their bandmate. Or telling an idol they ship them with their bandmate. Stuff like that is not right. Shipping and writing fanfic has always had an unwritten rule: Shipping/Fanfic should NOT be talked about to the person that is being written about.
I've noticed a trend that seems like older/old school K-Pop fans are cool with shipping and love it, while newer/younger K-Pop fans are not cool with it. And that's fine. You don't like it, don't participate in it. Ignore it. Go about your day. You do like it, write to your heart's content. :)
I also agree with you but sadly there are fans who gone to far with sick edits/FF's. I'm a person who accepts shipping as long you don't cross the line with ask about it or what you have written down in your comment.

I saw a video that was shipping Taekook romantically or I say Sexually(Title-Taekook Sexual Tension or something like that) Shit I feel very cringe remembering that video. Jungkook was just looking at Tae during Award acceptance Speech(along with all members)and Delulu Fans started to give their own theory (approved by immature Delulu Fans ).Tae was giving speech so what does they expect Jungkook to go backstage and do bapsae dance instead of appreciating teammate speech 😑😑 . Now the member of Same group can't look at each other, can't smile or even talk giggling cuz immature fans will start unnecessary shipping.

About babying idols I do comment sometimes like " Jungkook is such a baby !" if I find something really adorable about him or any other member but I think some fans take it too far like as mentioned in this video telling Jungkook not be in relationship because he is a baby whereas he is in his mid-twenties ...
I think that everything is toxic when it's too much, even the opposite situation (when people want to prohibit all things from those vid). Sometimes idols need to have fair skin for some concepts (for example vampires/ ghosts or else). You can baby an idol by comforting him/her or telling sweet words of love (not to command him how to live their life as if you were his/her parent!). You can ship them in innocent way (without doing vulgar or porn stuff, or at least not to publish it). Just let idols be, work and make their own mistakes (and let them find their own way to fix those mistakes). They need some space to move and some air to breath. Same thing with their fans! When a fan call an idol a cute baby he/she doesn't necessarily mean that he/she wants an idol to wear a babysuit and to suck a pacifier! Often this is nothing more than an expression of support and love. Say no to overprotection and so no to overreaction.
I feel like Aespa's AI concept was an attempt for SM to "cash-in" on the whole V-Tuber trend that had a moment in the YouTubing/Gaming communities- though, because they didn't double-down on it, the concept feels incredibly weak, unfinished, and thus, incredibly out-of-place in the MV's. (This is just my take on why it happened, and why it feels so... strange.)
Agreed for most of this, but for the MR removed, you can diffrentiate which one is real or pre recorded vocals from the show the video was taken. For example all the MR removed that used clips from the korean live show like Yoo Huiyeol's Sketchbook or Immortal Songs 2 are real live vocals, since this kind of show prioritize live performance over all other things and didn't make much change on post production. MR removed from music shows on the other hand, is diffrent case, since pre-recorded vocals and post production often found in this type of video thus removing the MR not really works in showcasing the real vocals. So yeah, not entirely unreliable but not that useless either. I know it doesn't really determine how talented an idol was from their MR removed video, but it was still pretty impressive for the idol who actually sounds good in one.

Aespa does definitely have an interesting concept but that’s what personally made me love aespa. The AI’s do make it unique but they need to be changed and maybe be a bit more higher quality but they need to use them properly.
A lot of the AI avatars don't even look Asian, they look like Caucasian versions of the girls and plus they're too tall. Real Aespa aren't even that height
Restriction of tattoos, piercings and dating are also pointless as first of all, they shouldn't bother anyone and mostly, they don't, also some idols do it anyway and shouldn't be downgraded for it, it's completely okay and understandable, to to mention some fans, including me even support that.
The only problem in aespa's ai concept is the CGI most of the time the ai characters seems to be stiff and I don't like their talking voice, the outfits given to them are poor nothing iconic. I hope they do an aespa series or something, they are doing it but the 2nd episode hasn't came out yet.
Overall if they work on these things they will remain iconic forever.

I like Aespas AI concept, I find it interesting because this is a first I've seen in kpop. I don't really have a problem with it, but still dumbfounded that they had to edit the members out and had to replace the Æ members during their Next Level promotion. But I Still found it cool and awesome.
