I spent a few hours in Harry Reid on Thursday lol. I went to the A gates and slept behind one of the 5 seat benches because you can move it. Right up against the window it was great. Wish I could've been around to show you my spot
All trams at Vegas are air side, post-security. Just a few feet before you leave the secured, you turn to your right, and there's the tram to D concourse.
For Las Vegas being such a flashy and fun city, they got a boring and bland joke of an airport. I had an overnight layover and there was absolutely no good selection of things to eat, do or even a comfortable place to sit in. I couldn't even play the slot machines because I was 17 at the time. Great city, crappy airport. Worst 8 hours of my life.
@@htxmatt1206 That airport is a fossil for sure, and definitely not my favorite. Due for a LaGuardia-style update. Would love to visit the actual city of Vegas sometime, but I didn’t want to mess up my sleep schedule for this 3 day trip.
Vegas airport was never really the friendly airport.. I retired TSA.. worked graveyard shift at that airport....many homeless used to gather in the lobby outside security to stay out of the heat in summer and in cold months, try to stay warm in the airport...they never liked the homeless using the restrooms or sleeping overnight in nooks and cranny corners around the lobby...used to run the homeless out of the airport...all because they wanted a safe cool place to sleep from the broiling heat , wash up. relieve themselves etc..most eating places are shutdown after a certain hour in the lobby, one or 2 were open at C or D gates. but not much.....btw, the strip is within walking distance.. most people don't know this. but there is a cut across that gets you there from the parking area ahead of A- B gates..cabbies long haul you but the strip is right behind the airport.. about 10 minute walk...remember for next time...
@K4Ediamond I thought Jefferson lines pickup passengers from Grand Forks, ND. Jefferson lines and salt Lake express bus go from Fargo to Great Falls, MT
@@williehenderson1604 Looked it up, you're right there is a bus. Good to know, thanks. Though I'm looking at some of the prices, it looks like it'll often cost more than these flights did so it'll depend.
@@dchen345 because I wanted to sleep (my trip was only gonna be 3 days so I didn’t wanna mess up my schedule). Though given how much sleep I actually got in there it probably would have been better if I did go see Vegas LOL. Maybe next time, if there is one.
Sorry if it's hard to hear in some parts
McCarron, it will always be McCarron!!

I did the same as you did. Because I was waiting on my Alaska flight 1240 to Oakland from Seattle Tacoma Intl Airport.
Overnight in Seattle?
@ yeah, their mostly a lot of terminals, and they close the Airtrain overnight.
@TheAmtrakCCandSJfan Would have rather stayed the night there... they got comfortable spots to sleep

Sleeping overnight at an airport must feel so weird....
@@OrtaPottyProd sure was. More people were staying there overnight than I expected though
