- Before I post my full demo of the AMAZING STL Tones Josh Middleton amp sim, here's a short play though I made. These riffs just came flying at me when I tried it for the first time.
All the guitar tones are from presets that was included in the plugin, no pre or post processing done to the guitars other than the mastering. I'll go over the presets used in the full demo, stay tuned!
Gear used:
Guitar - Solar Guitars S1.6 PB Baritone (Drop A tuning)
Drums - Bogren Digital Krihm Drums
Bass - Submission Audio Eurobass 2

Thanks a lot Johan , you never disappointed :) I think I'll get it, but I'll check the difference between this tonality and his tonehub pack .... same feeling about the Krihm Drums ... 'cause I'll have Superior Drummer 3 + lots of Expensions (Ez et Superior like Death and Darkness The metal foundry etc... ) may be one day 'ill finished my 50 "untitled songs# " lol 😂 😂 About bass ... I've like you the Eurobass ...

Haha, yeah, there sure are many awesome products out there that sounds so good right now. I know I have too many by now. But it's so much fun at the same time, right!? Haha.
And yeah, maby the next plugin or amp sim will help to finish those 50+ ideas I have as well, or will it.....?? Haha 😅
Yup, it sure sounds good. Question is - how good compared to the multitude of 5150 options currently available? Vad tycks?
As far as my experience goes with real 5150's, imo this one comes closest to the feel and sound of a real one. Sound vise, there is a couple that's on par with it, such as the Neural Nolly, Neural Gojira and actually the old but gold TSE X50 if you use a good IR with it. Meeen mycket är ju tycke o smak 😁🤘🏻
@@johanlund Yup, there sure isn't any lack of good choices. Good times for a true 5150 devotee.
Sitting here and comparing the new STL JM with the 5150 in STL Amphub, Neural Gojira, TSE X50 and the THU Overloud 5150. With the right IR, they all sound good but differ somewhat in feel. I agree - the STL JM is a joy to play, not least due to it's rich harmonic content. Nä, nu är det fan läggdags innan öronen börjar att blöda... ;)
