Josh Middleton is probably my favourite modern day metal guitarist, riffs are cool, insane at shredding and sweeping guys a beast, Sylosis are a really underrated band too outside of the uk
You know what man, i first discovered Chimaira in 2003 when the The Impossibility of Reason was released. I used to go to my local music store and listen to it in my lunch break for nearly a month waiting for my pay check until the guy behind the counter told me i couldn't listen to it any more in the store and Id have to buy it. 2 days later I finally got my monthly pay check and had the CD in my car on repeat for nearly 4 months. I didn't listen to anything else. All my Slayer and Sepultura etc all took a back seat. Your Riffs were the thing that got me soo pumped. When Chimaira came out in 2005 I instantly spent 4 days trying to work out "Save ourselves" as that was the first track on that album that initially stood out. I interestingly got it pretty close to what you play actually except I didn't realize you guys were in Drop C where i figured it all out in C Std. Rob, you are the man and every time I get into that rut, i just pick up my axe that tuned to C and listen to your channel and instantly the juices start flowing again. This video is no different. Thanks for the years of inspiration and absolute quality riffage.
Josh Middleton is a riff master. Been listening to Sylosis since 2010. The more I see these video the more I want to sell my amps. Lol They sound really good. Last night went to see Anthrax, Black label society and Exodus in San Antonio. Great show caught 4 Scott ian picks 🤘😆. Almost had a Zakk Wylde pick but the fan next to me beat me to it.
Yeah, this amp sim is definitely a killer, got it as soon as I was notified... BTW, your black MH-1000 is awesome looking and sounds great! I just got mine but in dark brown sunburst.
Sick as hell tones! I really love STL! Also your riffs are killer as usual.. I absolutely loved that down slide you did in the opening song, so tasteful and perfectly placed 👌👌👌👌
They all sound awesome. But that Dual Rec sounds incredible! ive got one and they just sound so full and thick. The 5150 and the Rec have always been my 2 favourites. You should check the Rec out more dude 😀killer riffs as usual btw 🤘
Rob, you made me pick up guitar back in the days. Hearing the self titled album was a new experience for me, that just blew my mind. Have never heared something like that before. When I had the skills, I barely had to learn the rythm parts because they were already burned into my brain. Never had that again with any other artist or album. Guess thats pure love ❤

Dude! You already know chimaira is my jam, but hearing you playing Josh from Sylosis tones, im on cloud nine bro!! The little guitar fan in me is crying happy tears, this is so sick!!!
Head bangers ball old school. Out of the three amps I's have to go with amp 2 and my reason for that is I liked the tune of the crunch channel. It gives the guitar sound a little boost. Which would suit the way I would like an amp to sound. So thank you showing me what the crunch channel sounds like Rob.
