I have sat here in disbelief knowing the pain of this man almost word for word. I have taken almost the entire suspension componets off only to find that yes indeed this one this was failing/broken or shorting out but only to discober there is still more. Im to the point of contemplating getting springs and coils and to hell with the air system.

I have a 2006 4.2SC and we have the same auxiliary radiator at the front. I’ve found that removing headlight and reaching down below to remove the two bolts that hold plastic deflector to aux cooler helps remove it completely with the ones you can see from inside arch.

Some guys what I've seen they removed the airlines and used them to access airbags and they filled them with liquid tire patcher and it worked well. Since then, I have one kit always in the trunk and I hope I will never have to use it. Anyway, have a good one, and good luck with this tank. I have one and its really a masterpiece once u fix the essentials.

ah man, im pretty sure your new compressor is faulty, I would have just first swapped it again with the old one that made pressure to be sure before going down the rabbit hole! good luck, very good content, thank you for your time

12:41 - That looks like an oil cooler to me. Shame you're going to have to remove the whole of the front bumper. I guess it's akin to owning an MG TF. Jobs are never easy!

While I had the valve blocks out I'd have replaced all the o rings in them all. I've just done that to my Range Rover L322 the o rings are available on eBay as a whole kit 40 o rings in total for under £18 or so. I must say the placement of the valve blocks are an arsehole to get to compared with the L322 which are under the wheel well liners on the drivers side (UK) but have nothing in the way of them and the reservoir valve block is with the compressor in the spare wheel well.

I have just replaced all of the outings in all 3 solenoids on my 2003 L322 with a kit from 4x4seals. Put everything back together and I've still got a bloody air leak from the pipe connector to the middle plastic solenoid. I think the threads in the solenoid block are stripped. I'm going to try some plumbing tape on the pipe connectors next as a last resort. Not happy

Did you record making the tool in the lathe? If not something to do next time! More content and would be interesting!

Number 1, those tank bolts are seized solid and your telling us a set of £3 snide turbo sockets, without having to smack them on is gonna spin off 2 13's after all the years they've been subject to every possible weather condition known to man.

I've seen a video recently of a guy doing a customers car and he just unbolts the radiator and lowers it to one side and gets to the valve block.
