Using the song "Our God is An Awesome God" I go over different strumming patterns you can use to advance your playing. The chords are C, G, D, Em for a 2 count the entire song.
    God bless!
    Matt

Matt!!! Thank you so much for all of these videos on strumming patterns!! I can play a ton of chords and switch fast and easily between chords, but the strumming patterns have always given me trouble. You videos are finally helping me to understand what I have been doing wrong and it has increased my musicality on the guitar. I appreciate your help, man. I know that you get asked to do a ton of different things for videos, but please keep making strumming pattern videos. I need all the help I can get. Thanks and Blessings to you and your family.

Help Matt, I hate playing the G Em C and D chords using the shortened finger positions, it just doesn't sound right. Is it OK to use 'normal finger positions for these chords, will I be able to play the songs OK if I do. I am quite good at changing chords the normal way, help, please advise, you are soooo blessed bro (we all are), but may the Lord bless you even more, you're an inspiration

hello... thnks for teaching us.. may i ask as well what it takes to know how to chord a song?like.. i wanna play worship songs without looking at a copy of that has chord on it.. thanks much...

lots of practice! haha to be honest I still struggle with that. I would say start out learning songs that have the same chord pattern and same time..like Our God is an Awesome God. is C, G, D, Em for 2 beats per chord the whole song. Give it a shot!
