"We used hate and hate was generated, we believed that hate would be our savior, we left all our problems on the "island of demons" and as a result this demon was born, to repay all the hate we gave him." Marleyan commander facing his destiny.
To me, this serves as an excellent piece of lovecraftian horror. In centuries past, these things dominated the world. They slept for ages, but now they are back. We have technology. Every piece of artillery, every bit of human ingenuity and brainpower, every weapon humankind has at its disposal has its home in the alliance fleet. And we didn't even make it long enough to reload for a second shot.
"If, by any chance, we manage to survive towards the future, I vow to never make the same mistake again; I'd like you all to make the same vow. To end this cycle of mutual hatred, to create a world where we take care of each other, here and now, we bid farewell...to our monster."
As expected, they used this OST for the speech on Part 3, which was made for it. EDIT: Also, the Attack on Titan track always comes after this track, like they were made together in the 2 times they were used in the show.
L-logic. Just for anime, similar cores are taken and separate parts (needed for the ANIME itself) are "cut out" and inserted into the product itself ...
I quite like how it was also foreshadowed early on. Eren’s second transformation into the Attack Titan was half skeleton, and there was that one shot of him in a dream (I believe after he saved his friends with titan hardening in the Reiss cave) as nothing as a skeleton with his human head on the end.

I would be very suprised if this OST isn't used for that scene it's absolutely a perfect fit for it.
man saw the future
The perfect ost for the perfect scene 🤯
Yeah, they used this track for this speech, which was perfect as expected.
@@sarahbelle81 I mean, this track was MADE for that scene, which is great. Sometimes, predictability does not mean bad.
imagine seeing that on the horizon.
There’s literally nothing you can do, just gotta run hoping your the fastest person alive or accept death.
You only have a few minutes to see that view before getting trampled to death.
3:00 god this gives me goosebumps
Me too
Yamamoto really channeling god into this soundtrack lol

I'll be the voice out of the chorus and say that this thing with Eren as a huge ribcage skeleton guy was ridiculous.
It’s creative, creepy, unsetling and frightning i don’t know why you think that. And when you see the finale you’ll appreciate it more.
