Hi Nikhil - I am new to this whole perfume thingy. During the 2021 lockdown( for want of anything better to do - was surfing the web and happened upon a Jeremy Fragrance video - which piqued my interest. And that in turn led to Ash’s Gents Scents….). To cut a long story short. I love the way you present - it is really very informative especially to fragrance ignoramuses like me. Keep up the good work!👍🏽
i have had this for a year.. too too strong. beautiful balsamic, incensy rose-raspbery-oud.. not stinky at all but boozy in some sense. too stimulating and half spray does the job.. i used this for over 4 months and hardly lost 10ml... a decant of 10ml is enough for all, bottle presentation is superb with a unique sprayer, glad u did a review
I would love to hear your opinion on LV Imagination, i see its the most popular from their fresh line-up. I have a decant and its really high quality, a citrus tea musk fragrance, lasts all day long.
Very interesting! I was a bit turned off by the last LV release I've sampled in store but your take on this sounds intriguing. Will be putting this on my sample list. By any chance, have you sampled Kilian's Musk Oud? Its also another 'soft' oud with rose composition.

Nikhil bhai I went to Dubai mall LV outlet only to check this one coz thts only thing I can afford there. But then when the converted to inr it’s cost 40k which is too much for a perfume. So I silently came out and so I came out and bought elixir,Tom ford noir extreme and blue de Chanel at the same price 😆. But I must say I have never smelled anything like ombré nomade
My fav rose Fragance in niche Fragances is Fredrick Nalle Portrait of a lady....true "MASTERPIECE" layer it with ruh Gulab its magical..

Sir, one genuine question I want to ask you. There are tens of very popular international youtube channels about perfumes. What percentage of those are "motivated" financially or otherwise to suggest/disadvise particular perfumes? I recently started getting interested in perfumes and I smell it but can't differentiate between genuine and fake suggestions. What are your thoughts?
I will answer this with two suggestions. Only you know what scent notes you like and what you don't. Watching a fragrance review is like watching a car review. I spent far too much $ buying fragrances from you tube reviews only to discover that I disliked what everyone else said was great. Finally, once you have decided which notes you really like,(for me it is grapefruit and ambroxen in the summer, and boozy or sweet tobacco fragrances in the winter) don't waste your $ on cheap fragrances. better to buy and wear 2 or three great fragrances that have quality ingredients than 20 cheap knockoffs that smell okay but not great.
As the gentleman above stated. Explore your own taste. Just learn about perfumes. No one can sell you anything without your permission. Form your own opinion. Use internet as a learning tool only.

I do plan to smell different types of fragrances to discover my own taste. One hurdle I feel is there are lesser options in India to discover the variety of these fragrances easily. For instance, I live in Bangalore and there are a handful of stores where I can go and experience fragrances firsthand. Buying decants online and then trying is not as effective because practically speaking, we'll always be picking decants for the fragrances which are suggested by the popular youtube community.
I wished there were more physical stores with a lot of options for people like us to find their taste easily.

I’m surprised to hear such high praise. For its reported quality and performance, the price is justified. I was at Henry Jacques in Dubai Mall last weekend sampling and wondering how I could justify AED 2700 ($735) for a fragrance; this at AED 1740 ($474) suddenly seems a lot more palatable. I will sample it this weekend. By your description, the rose is sublime.

I don’t think there’s any real Oud in this, most likely an accord. Jacques Cavalier did a very good job making the aroma Chemical smell as authentic as he could.
