I got ombre nomade last week and have been wearing it to office every single day since - i truly don't care about what people think. Its amazing, two sprays and I'm set for the day. Amazing sillage!
I used to own this and I know objectively that it’s a good fragrance. But I gave it away because I just couldn’t see any situation where I could wear it, so I gave it away! Definitely makes me want to revisit it at some point. And bring on the Q&A!
Your opening line is always killer 😋 And great to see how much the channel has grown in barely over a week! You have a knack for this. I’d love to see you do a Q&A at some point too.
My wife forbid this scent and she stated of all the scents I have in the collection, ON was the worst. I sold it soon after because it wasn’t a week later my best friend told me he hated it as well.
I am completely in love with Ombre Nomad. It is elegant and opulent. It's like wearing $1000 bills (if such a thing existed). Very rich and lasts forever. Definitely my number 1 choice for a night at the opera or symphony.
The way you described this made me feel like you issued a challenge to any would be wearer of this fragrance. Now I want to get it and this fragrance is one that the price makes me avoid it. I smelled it in my local LV boutique and it smelled incredible on the strip. I should go back to sample it on skin then go from there. I might have to break my own price limitation rule to get this to see if I can make it my winter signature or at least a frequently worn scent this winter.
@@SirEricArthurBlair not a challenge at all! It’s just very elegant and requires a certain presence. I’m just not in the mood to ‘be that person’ all the time. I have to admit that I’ve since acquired similar scents so I’m a little more comfortable with this type of thing.
Ehi Daniel, coming back to your videos to follow my next purchase. Would you consider redundant ombré nomade having oud maracuja? How about longevity and sillage in btw the two ? Do you own any other maison crivelli? Thank you always in advance
@@DavideV101 the drydown is pretty much identical, that huge dusty cracked leather thing, very very similar. Opening is completely different but the Crivelli doesn’t hold onto that passion fruit for long. I don’t currently own any Crivelli.
Very helpful review, thank you. Not sure this will be a winter buy. I have a couple of oud fragrances and while I'll be adding at least one more, it doesn't sound from your review or my own tests that it will be Ombre Nomad. Having said that I really like LV for the refillable service. I am just coming to the end of my Afternoon Swim and the fact I can take the bottle back to Selfridges and have it refilled at half price is a huge plus point for LV scents.
@@markdudley2083 this is not really Oud forward, there is a ton of rough leather with some sweet red fruit at top. A great buy if you want the rough part of ON without the sweet tones is Armani Privé Noir Kogane. Surprisingly good!
I have both Nomade and Ombre Leather.....and they do resemble each other with Nomade being slightly stronger than Ombre....sometimes I layer them together....still excellent and elelgant!
Loving these reviews. I notice that the perfumes you’re reviewing (maybe except the JPG one) leans more towards rich and complex scents that are wearable during night time or the colder months. Is that reflective of your entire collection or do you also have some freshie/day time scents? I haven’t tried Ombre Nomade but I have sampled Nouveau Monde. I heard it’s more casual and more wearable than ON. I don’t find it ultra specific. I have worn it on a few casual night time occasions. It’s my third favorite LV behind Imagination and L’Immensite. Sorry I rambled on! 😅
Thanks for the lengthy comment! I do tend to prefer heavy darker fragrances more but as a fairly OCD person, I like to have a balanced assortment of fragrances. One of the reason I am covering the a lot of heavies first is that before a review I aim to do a full wear, just to remind myself of the scent in its integrity--not all heavies are summer friendly. I will be covering lots of lighter fresher fragrances in the near future, fear not :) The JPG was covered early for two reasons: I wanted to test the reception of more commercial vs more niche (and this has proven people have a thirst for interesting) and because I was on the fence again about keeping the fragrance due to finding it fairly boring (I indeed ended up selling it days after).
Have you tried nouveau monde? I just had visited a LV boutique for the first time this weekend and sprayed on my favorite "oud" and and side by side i tried nouveau monde next to ombre nomade and nouveau monde won me over. Raspberry accord replaced with a chocolate one in the opening and some ginger zing/brightness in the heart. Definitely a little more leathery than it is oud-ey though. Wondering if you had any experience or any comments on it. It not i do recommend! My favorite freshies were l'immensite and orage probably. Afternoon swim was amazing too but i literally felt it fade away from the card LOL
Just purchased a bottle of this yesterday, nice to hear your thoughts on it! I have never encountered a smaller channel like yours with such great quality (I love your cat too 😽). Ombre Nomade is indeed incredibly elegant (and sexy I think) but I would never hold myself back from wearing it whenever I want, it's just too good. Also, sometimes it feels good to leave people stunned 🤪. Keep doing what you're doing with the channel, I'm so happy the UA-cam algorithm finally gave me someone interesting!

Hey man, enjoyed your review for this one. Have you smelled oud satin mood by MFK? I have trouble deciding between the 2 and wanted to know what you feel about them. Thanks.
I have not smelled it but knowing MFK and having read a lot on Satin Mood I can pretty confidently say that Ombré Nomade is way rougher and masculine. There is almost no rose in the LV.

In fact it scared everyone away. 😐 You can tell I like my privacy. 🤣 Nah, I think it was the intimidation factor. Something about leather accords that both intrigues and repels people at times. Hey, thanks for the comment! I don't have a bottle but I sampled it really recently. In short: it's an easy and wearable rugged leather, it's not offensive while still being pretty raw feeling. You comment is spot on as it does kind of feel like the isolated leather component of Ombre Nomade. Performance is decent, 8h ish with average projection. I like it, it's on my list of purchases but not super high priority.
