Holy crap this ride is amazing. It HAULS through the layout. Amazing airtime and no pacing issues. The unbanked turns are also REALLY forceful. Once it starts it never stops, it's absolutely relentless.
So true! I rode this in February 2019. It is relentless! That is a very good word to describe this coaster. Unlike most coasters, this one doesn’t seem to have a mid-course brake run. It just keeps going and going.
@@AbandonedMines11 Actually there is a mid course, but it's usually turned off. However before the GCI retrack, this mid course would actually bring you to a dead stop. Combine that with the jackhammering this ride used to give you and you'd get a pretty bad woodie, which GCI completely fixed.
There is one calmer turn-around. But yes. You’re right. The pacing is nuts. No mid-course brake-run. Great laterals. You fly off the track or feel like you will.
It's alot smoother now, Thank God. I remember when it was built and when it got rough.

I went on this ride twice, the line was long and I really didn't want to wait. And I loved it so much. It was calling my name and I never wanted it to end. It's even better at scary farm at night time.
Idk why but the anti-rollbacks on GCI coasters sound so satisfying xD

rode this for the first time and they put me in the far back🤦♀️ It was actually not bad and I really enjoyed it! But never underestimate this ride;) It goes pretty fast and I loved the rush it gave me after that first big drop.

My second favorite ride at Knott’s Berry Farm today was my first time at knotts and I loved this ride of it weren’t for the ride closing due to a difficulty I would’ve gone on it twice 💕💕🤗🤗

Totally agree, love Silver Bullet and once got on Xcelerator 8 times in one night when I had an annual pass but Ghost Rider still terrifies me between the nasty feeling you get on the drop and the jankiness but then again that's what makes it fun too. Absolute most terrifying drop was Perilous Plunge, surprised it took them that long to remove that shaky relic

Me and a mom of my friend went in this ride (the kid didn’t want to ride cause he was afraid of thrill rides) and I thought this was gonna be an easy ride and a good way to see if I’m a roller coaster person. Boi when I saw the crap I was shitting bricks. The first drop was like I was about crash into the ground like a goddamn meteor. It was super fast and fun too. But after I arrived home I was getting a splitting headache and when I lay down or sit, I still feel the drop and my stomach starts getting weird. But overall I’d ride this once every time I go to Knotts but not more than once consecutively.

Bro this ride is like, so fun. We sat in like, the 5th or 4th cart. It was awesomee!! I recommend it, for people trying to get over fears of rollar coasters!!

I rode in the front and back, the view from the front is so cool and just getting to look how far you are gonna fall is awesome but I like the back better cuz it is WAY more intense and when you are on the drops (especially the first one) you don’t know when it is gonna happen and that to me is just scary in a really good way

My favorite ride at Knott's Berry Farm. But when I first rode it in 2015, it was really rough. But I re rode it in 2016 after the re tracking and it was really smooth.

When GCI got their hands on this thing, they made it into one of the best wooden coasters on the planet.
Ah ha! So that's how this CCI ended up with Millennium Flyer trains. When I rode this coaster, it was running PTCs and there was no roof over the first drop.

I've ridden this coaster multiple times by going to single rider line so I can get more filled airtime. But at the morning, I've been on front Row.
I need to check out that single rider line next time.
Watch this in 1.25x speed and that is how this roller coast actually feels. the video doesn’t do it justice, flying through all those wooden structures so close makes the ride that much more intense! Feels like a runaway rollercoaster!
I can agree with that, my biggest coaster before I rode it was Manta and sea world San Diego, and I was so nervous for this one. But after i really saw how fast and fun it was.

I was nervous as hell before I rode this the first time, and my mom was all calm and collected. By the end of the ride our attitudes completely switched. If you really enioy going super fast, and can handle drops that are a little steeper than usual, you'll have a lot of fun riding this. I was laughing like a hyena the entire time lol

Hi everyone. I have a huge fear of roller coasters. Like I can go on splash mountain, space mountain, the Incredicoaster etc at Disneyland. At Knotts I can go on wipeout, coast rider, pony express etc. Do you think I can go on this ride. It looks really fun but I’m afraid of roller coasters. HELP PLEASEEEE

This is the rollercoaster I went on that help conquer my fear of dying in a rollercoaster accident. When I'm feeling scared right before getting on the roller coaster I take deep slow breathes remind myself the chance of being killed in a rollercoaster accident is extremely low 1 in 750 million. Then during the drop I hold on tight and let out a small yell or scream for me it makes it less scary that way. Afterward, you will realize it's not so bad and be more likely to go on more rollercoasters next time. I have a huge fear of heights but it's always worth going on if you like the ride for whatever reason.
As I have reridden it, Ghostrider is not that bad it just goes VERY fast, other than that it’s really only the first drop and the drop after the brakes that are scary.
After this upcoming weekend, this may be my #1 bucket list coaster

If u don’t like roller coasters or if this is your first one, don’t go on it! This was my first real roller coaster and let me tell you after the first drop i thought the rest of the ride would be fine 😅 but there were so many other drops!
Today I went to Knotts Berry Farm for Mother’s day week. When I got the idea to ride the Ghost Rider I had no idea how it was and to be honest, I have no roller coaster experience at all. I am only 10 and a half years old and I sat in the second front row with my mom and my brother was in the very first row alone. When the ride first started the little hill wasn’t bad at all but i did not know what was coming next. As I was going up and up and reached the top peak of the ride my mom HAD to remind me, “here it comes!” I closed my eyes but it did not help at all and I zoomed down the biiiiggg drop. Some people might think going down really fast down feels good to your groinal area is pleasant but NO it is not. Keep in mind i am only 10 and a half. The way your groinal area feels during the drops is very very very weird feeling and it would be hard to get used to. SO NEVER underestimate roller coasters.
You should probably have done warm up rides beforehand to make it less scary

I've been on this ride and at night they put the rides on maximum over blast bc I went on it and felt like I was about to die and I went on supreme scream in the morning and it fun but fast but my brother went on it at night and he said they put the ride on maximum speed (btw I'm a girl )
Eduardo Villalba what in the world is maximum over blast LOL it sounds dangerous. Pretty sure that they can’t put the rides into however fast maximum over blast is because that sounds like you mean they’re making the rides go faster than they were made to be. Sort of like how a car CAN go 150 miles an hour but that doesn’t mean you should drive it that fast because you’ll probably break the engine.
I always wish I could go to this park and that’s from somebody who goes to Disney, Island Of Adventure, And Sea World almost every week.

I have visited Knott’s Berry Farm on various occasions throughout my childhood in California. I lived in Irvine growing up and in some school field trips would be at Knott’s Berry Farm with Snoopy and the Peanut gang. The amusement park also has a lot of rich historical history about California. The Jaguar was also another popular rollercoaster but Ghostrider was the best. It’s so scary cause it’s made out of wood! Awesome memories 🙌♥️

i can't go on this ride you see when I just turned 8 years old I was in a very bad car accident a car ran me over and i lost a lot of blood and i broke a few bones and now I have t.b.i. so if i go on fast rides my brain will shake and the brain controls every body part so if i ride i will die

Nope longer line. We were just there. 2 hr wait, but we went at 50 min wait 30 min before close and well, it still felt like 2 hrs. Lol Worth it for the night experience.
